Well... that hadn't turned out exactly as expected had it? She'd by no means wanted him to start sharing his story but it forced the blind molly to take in some deep breaths and just... calm down and try to figure out where this mess had begun, where it had stemmed from. She had shared her own too, so she presumed it could very much be herself to blame as well as him... but well, it depended on the circumstances did it not? He'd been the one questioning her... and thereby she started to explain and in her explanation was the analysis of her own experiences to relate back to the explanation... so in truth none of them were to blame but rather the way they each preferred to address an issue and give their explanation. But his story did draw up some sympathy from the blind molly and Doetuft slowly drew up her tail and rested it on his shoulder in a gesture of peace, of friendliness. "I believe... respect... is something... that is earned. And you... despite.. your assholy... attitude... has earned mine... and I hope.. that I can... earn yours as well." Respect... it was such a vital thing to hold in the way they currently led their lives... and Doetuft believed that it was how she was still able to tolerate Dawnstar. Because despite not being the biggest fan of the leader, she still proved capable of doing at least something right and that had earned her the blind molly's respect. "Not many... cats have... gone through... anything similar... to us... not lost loved... ones... or being neglected... for the majority... of their life. But... there are good... cats in here. Really good... cats. Irony... be irony... I found my own... cousin within the clan... and I got myself... an adoptive parent. Life... ain't all bad here... despite the current meek appearance and attitude of the clan."

It honestly seemed to Burningspark he had over shared, and he could tell Doetuft seemed to feel similarly. He didn't blame her, but he flicked his ears in annoyance anyways. Who was he to think she would want to hear something like that? I wouldn't want someone to spill their sad past to me. He thought, refraining from huffing. He would not make the same mistake in sharing again. I swear to StarClan, if I wasn't any smarter I think she was an elder with all the nonsense she's spurting. He thought with a sigh. The dark russet tom groomed the side of his pelt. "I guess." He murmured begrudgingly. "But if they didn't want to be close to me before I changed they shouldn't want to be close to me at all." He wondered if he was even making sense at this point to her, but he understood what he was saying. "If you cant be with me at my worst, I can't let you in once I'm healed." He explained, shifting uncomfortably. Something about Doetuft made him overshare, yet, for once he wasn't sure he minded. He didn't know who she would tell.

(It's alright! We all have those days pff)
Darkpaw gave him a nervous smile which slowly turned into a grin. "It was nothing! Don't worry about it." The voices grew louder, she wanted to scream. Tell him what was wrong. But she never could. Never. Couldn't tell a peep. She felt sick to her stomach. She held back a gag. Her body shook slightly but she kept up her grin. The apprentice flicked her tail and noticed more than one dark figure this time.. Fear filled her heart, she gulped but kept up her smile. She had to. "A-Anyways! Let's talk about something else!"[/QUOTE]
Alright, he was no longer concerned. Whatever problem she had was no longer about to be his. The dark russet tom ignored the fear in her eyes and sighed, flicking his tail. "Have you met Fadedpaw yet?" He asked. He wasn't sure how he felt about his new apprentice and though they seemed to be respectful enough, she was a tad to peppy for him. However, he wanted a second opinion, and he figured Dorkiepaw would be the best cat to get it from. No interaction with any new cats and he'd be able to get the information from a semi-reliable source. His gold eyes landed on the small apprentice without emotion in them.

Finally, conversation. "Oh, I don't think I have. Are they your apprentice?" Now Darkpaw was interested. She slightly tilted her head, eyes filled with curiosity now. Fadedpaw.. sounded somewhat familiar. She didn't think she'd met them though. Oh well, she'd find out soon enough! She smiled at Burn Burn, kind of wanting to meet his apprentice. All evidence of her fear seemed to be gone, like nothing had ever happened. When she wanted to change the subject, she did her best to change it.

Reason: I fixed it pff
(Hi Undertaker, Petal is Dusk’s loner sister. Can she join the clan? Dusk brought her to the camp.)
Duskfern led Petal through the entrance, and into the clearing of the ShadowClan camp. ”This is it,” she said cheerfully. ”Stay here. I’ll talk to Dawnstar.” She padded up to Dawnstar’s den. “Dawnstar?” she mewed, checking if her leader was in her den.
I hope she can sweet-talk me into this place. I love it here. Petal breathed deeply, sorting the scents in her mind. Pine, peat, moss, fresh-kill, cats... Opening her eyes, her pelt pricked with unease as she noticed a few wary stares. But she also received many friendly tail waves in her direction that settled her nerves. Sitting patiently next to the entrance of the den, she waited as if she had all day and night.

[okay look at this im getting to things on time wow, this is a massive surprise]
Doetuft understood this tom's view a lot better... and in some extent she even related to him. Except she'd not managed to develop such a sour and assholy attitude as he had but rather had tried to make something out of the bad instead of just lingering within it and souring and going bad... which was evident that he had for sure. "Well... sourpuss... don't... you know the phrase... you don't.. know... what you.... have before... it's gone?, I think... that relates... to what you.. were just describing." He was a confusing puzzle at least to her especially... and it wasn't like it was with Snowflake, whom she could just poke until death and he would eventually give up and tell her what was on his mind. This tom had a rotten perspective of life and a cynical view of anyone's motives, be it to become friends or do something good, especially in regard to him. "I understand... that. For me... all who were... causing the worst... is no longer here... gladly. Shadowclan... has opportunities that... you need to grasp. Realize... that not everything... in the world is bad... that not every clanmate... plans to stab you... in the back... although certainly... some do have that... interest for sure." But she was getting tired of this sitting down constantly and rose, stretching out her injured hindleg and testing it to see how well it was holding up. Surely it could hang on for just a small walk... or at least it would have to because the blind molly was stubborn and had set it to herself that she would go out on a walk. "Come on.. go out... enjoy the lands... that is Shadowclan."
Having eaten a sizeable mouse and stretched any stiffness from her long limbs, Tallfern was ready to begin her day. The young warrior knew she had some challenges ahead of her, but was determined to connect with her apprentice. She needed to be patient and inventive, but she it was critical to prepare him for the world outside the camp. Had he encountered the fox alone...well, she decided not to think about it.
“Frogpaw?” She called.

Frogpaw streched and aproached his mentor. "Im here!" He mewed.

“Good morning,” The big She-cat greeted, plumed tail raised above her back. She decided to change up her approach to engage the young cat, “What do you feel like working on today? We could work on some combat basics, practice hunting, learn the patrol routine...it’s up to you.” She prompted, vivid green eyes bright.

Burningspark wasn't surpised to hear Darkpaw hadn't heard of Fadedpaw. From what he could tell, his apprentice wasn't the most social of them all. At Dorkpaw's question, he gave her a slight nod. "She is." He responded curtly, flicking his dark russet tail as he did so. He gave a flick of his burnt ear before sighing. This conversation wasn't going anywhere fast, nor did it seem to be a good use of his time. "I think I'm going hunting. If you must, you can come with, but I think we both know by now I'd prefer if you didn't." He decided not to toy with the she-cat's head and make her think he was getting used to her being around. He still found apprentice's useless, though if she came with him, he supposed this one wouldn't be for a little while.

[ pfffff lmaooo I'm proud of you - also I love these nicknames for Burning that doe's giving him haha ]
Burningspark was half-listening. Out of respect, he didn't completely zone out or get up and walk away, because, at this point, it seemed Doetuft was ready to contradict him at every turn. However, hearing that she slightly understood his opinion, he was slightly comforted. Except then he became disgusted that he felt comforted and he had to keep his pelt from bristling with unease. It wasn't supposed to be this easy for him to be feeling comfortable around others. "Sourpuss?" He snorted, if only to distract himself from his vile thoughts. He wasn't making any big connections to her words, but he sighed. "I guess... you might have a point." He agreed through gritted teeth, though doing that almost came at the cost of his sanity. How had she earned his agreement? "Uh." Her voice broke into his thoughts and he glanced down at the prey he had set back down. "I suppose." He muttered in agreement, though only because he wanted to see how Doetuft managed to walk through the forest blind. He stood up with a stretch before gesturing for her to lead. "All you, ms. elder." A bad attempt at a comeback, but he was too unruffled to try harder.

Darkpaw looked at Burn Burn, her eyes filled with surprise and excitement. "R-Really?! I can come with?" Her voice was kind of loud, seeing as she was incredibly excited now. She gave him a wide grin, she was so happy. Maybe they were really becoming friends! Ohhh, how much she wanted to be friends with Burn Burn. He seemed like a hard nut to crack, and she would be the one to crack him. Well, he was more like a burning nut. But whatever. She giggled and kind of bounced up and down while continuing to grin at him. Oh, how exciting! She was going hunting with her new friend!
