Moon saw one and took her blade out. She left her daggers at camp. She jumped on its back and cut off it's head if she could. She then moved to the next and killed that one.

Petra had seen animals go mad with rabies before-- this was nothing like it. She fired another two bullets, which downed another creature. Her ears rang uncomfortably afterward.

Shadow would jump to the side as one of the things tried to grab her, thankfully Petra had shot it.
When they suddenly started retreating she'd run back to camp, panting.
She'd look around at the others.
"Do you think those things are coming back??"
