He hadn't thought about that. Which was why he had a mentor he supposed, so he could be a dingdong and still learn. Keeping his tail wrapped around him, Twigpaw first padded forward, finding it easy to move upright. When he got down into the crouching posture he normally fought in however, his tail was low enough to occasionally sneak under his paws, tripping him up. After a few close brushes between his nose and the dirt, he tried reaching his paws out a little farther, which helped a little, but not a lot. Still, after a while practicing he was able to walk around in more or less the same slinky way he normally did, although with his tail to his side. @Siren Bliss

“hey, okay, in my defense, my paws have a reason to be cold — it’s cold out here!! but nah, no cold paws here. you wish!” watching lionstar do.. whatever he was doing, spiderpaw waited until he was up close.

as he crashed into her flank, spiderpaw took the opportunity to — although somewhat disoriented by the attack — aim a smack towards lionstar’s neck. she just had to smack him back. it was her most important goal now. it was all that she was aiming to get out of this fight at the moment.... although she was still definitely going to win.

"Do you know what figure of speeches are, Spiderpaw?"

Her paw swung for Lionstorm's neck, and he tried to duck out of the way. The angle was a little odd and he couldn't move out of the way in time, resulting in a hefty whack making him wheeze. "Stink-bug!"

Using his weight, Lionstorm moved to shove himself down against her flank. Hopefully it would knock her down, and he could use that to pin her and end this.

Hi,its been a while i guess. *Charredpaw smiled,his chin scar made it look werid* You wanna spar,dont go easy on me *a voice in his head said He doesnt like you back,hes never liked you.Fake friends use you. No,Mosspaw is my friend,he thought back*

Mosspaw smiles widely when he sees his old friend. "Hi Charredpaw, it's really been a while! I missed you!" He tapped his paws on the ground happily as he dropped into a playful fighting stance. "I'd love to spar, I really need the training."

HA same. *charredpaw got down onto the ground ready to pounce,pouncing he hoped to land to pin the other tom* I said this isn't gonna be easy,but im not holding back,im not a kit anymore. *Charredpaw laughed,being blinded by the sun he diddnt prepare to be fully blinded as he jumped*

Mosspaw sidesteps his friend's jump, who was clumsy because of the light. He quickly positions himself behind Charredpaw, still on the defensive and waiting for his moment to strike. "Don't worry, I won't be going easy either," he says with a slight smile. He has to admit, the thrill of a fight is something he would have missed as a Medicine Cat.

“don’t care! you’ll have all the time in the world to say all the figures of speech you know after i beat you!”

spiderpaw beamed when her paw collided with lionstar, letting out an involuntary exclamation of “HA!” bam! in his face! wooo! this was basically as good as winning.. but she had something to prove, so she couldn’t just leave it at that.

her mood was killed when lionstar shoved her, stumbling before she fell. wincing, spiderpaw was stuck in a very pin-able position, and she took a moment to breathe before attempting to wriggle away. she couldn’t lose after all of the smack talk!! nope, nah, that was not going to happen. she couldn’t let that happen. her pride couldn’t take that hit.

Mosspaw isn't scared, confident that his best friend wouldn't actually hurt him. He doesn't give away his plan just yet, just waits for Charredpaw to attack him again, tail lashing with excitement.
