There wasn't an answer at first; none of the employees had heard the knock. Mara noticed the lightbike outside, though, and approached the unfamiliar firewall. Looking at her face, it clicked. "Vernal?!" she exclaimed, shock causing her to drop the tool she carried.

Chris laid there, staring at the roof. He didn't say a word, just let Skye-Bit sleep. She must be worn out, I'll let her have her beauty rest. He smiled, and tried not to fall asleep. He couldn't stay up for long and fell asleep as well.

Chris was still asleep. He fell asleep smiling.

Amber woke up. She yawned and went to wake up Chris. She saw the Bit on him and picked it up. "He had a Bit?" She shook it to try to make it talk. "Why is it not talking?" She shook it some more.

"I'm fine! I promise ... But I do hurt a little after they repurposed me-" she admitted as she grabbed one of her arms. This was uncomfortable... Was she starting to feel regret? Shame even? No don't feel that way...its your choice . Remember you wanted this. Zed angered her with his reactions but she knew he cared.. Mara however . She felt like she screwed up. stupid emotions ERGH! "they didn't kidnap me .Its a long story - ill explain if you want but please ...don't get mad ?"

She could handle one person she cared about getting upset but two? Vernal held her head only to growl "STOP! Just LISTEN TO ME PLEASE! " she yelled. just shut up! Shut up shut up shut up! "I did want this, but it'll make sense if you just listen " she said in a calmer tone.
