So that's what it felt like to be stabbed in the gut. She'd survive if she turned back, it just would be difficult extracting Chris' arm from between her ribs.
She turned back anyway, hatching a plan. "Use your disc to derezz me. I'll regenerate."

"Agh--!" She fell to the floor, torso slowly regenerating. "Now I see why they don't want you to... remove the thing you're stabbed with..." She closed her eyes, not wanting to look at the voxels strewn across the floor.
