"If he is, why was he shivering in terror?" Mara accused.

"Skye, what did you do to this poor Bit to make him so scared?"

"Yeah. It seemed like he was running from Pavel; that's how scared he was." Skye rolled her eyes, then spoke to Bit-Chris.

"Come on, buddy. It's me. What did I do to you?"

Chris-Bit flew out of Mara's hands. He took one good long look at Skye, then ran back into Mara's hands, shaking. "N-no!"

This was going great.

"No!" He shook even more, and stayed in Mara's hands. He "looked away" from Skye, but you couldn't really tell. He was shaking a lot, and it looked like he was scared a lot of Skye.

This joke was going perfectly.
