"Lionstorm did say the turkeys were dangerous," Mossygrove looked concerningly at Fennelheart. "If you hunt alone you could get hurt. Besides, he may not be leader anymore, but...you should still show him respect." How come Fennelheart had showed up if she was going to suggest ignoring the group-leader anyways? When Flamebriar approached her, asking if she wanted to join her, Mossygrove gave her a warm smile. The new name that had been picked for her was lovely, and it was wonderful to have family around again, without Icestar or Dawnstar looming over them. It felt so safe.

"Sure," She nodded at her aunt's suggestion, then turned back to Fennelheart. "You're welcome to join us too, if you want. If you decide not to hunt alone. A group of four would likely catch a pretty large bird."

Spotting Mosspaw she gave a nod for the signal . please starclan let this go right!... she wanted dinner and didn't want anybody hurt. If she got both it was a win win! She readied herself by making herself spring loaded.

“Ok,” Stripepaw said. She couldn’t believe it! Her first bird hunt was going to be fighting turkeys! Splashleap would be so proud of her! She was going to do the best out of everyone here!

Mosspaw sorang forward, biting at the ankles of the bird. It bolted away from him and he continued to chase it, hopefully driving it toward feathermask. After a couple seconds, he yelled, "Now!" and sprang on top of the bird's back, digging his claws in and trying to avoid its beak. He was so full of adrenaline that he forgot to bite down on the neck of the turkey- he just held on, hoping Feathermask would come help him soon.

Leaping at the Turkey she hissed and slashed the birds eyes with her sharp claws. She missed it the first time but the second time the bird screeched and its face ran Crimson . Now it was bitting blindly in front of it ! "Kid bite its neck! Now!" she meowed in a urgent tone of voice.All the while she was trying to dodge the birds beak.

She silently walked towards the bird until she was so close it was time to stalk. Crouching, she lightly placed her paws, stalking the bird. Raising her tail she signaled for the 2 apprentices to go on either side of the bird, and surround it.

Mosspaw shakes himself out of his stupor. "Right!" He leans down and sinks his teeth into the turkey's neck, cringing at the texture of the flesh there. He digs his claws deeper into it, which causes it to let out a loud squack and almost buck him off. Tail lashing, he holds on for dear life, closing his eyes as he waits for it to finally stop moving.

Getting bit by the wretched creature on the shoulder she yowled only to have some fur ripped off ! She gasped at her now partially naked shoulder. That...THAT MONSTER! HER PRECIOUS FUR! I'm hideous now! and is that a bit of blood? seeing a teensy bit of blood oose from the teeth marks she hissed at the bird. Boiling with rage she gave an angry yowl and up and under the birds chin only to bite it firm and hard. Risking any pecks to the head that were to come her way. For extra measure she dug her claws into the monsters fat chest and tried to give it harm.
