Skye stirred, but remained asleep, every voxel in her body feeling loose and relaxed. Her small figure was in the same curled-up position as it had been when she slipped into unconsciousness, bony limbs, ribs, and back cushioned by the blankets.
And then that peace left her.
She gripped the covers, brow furrowing. Her breathing quickened, and she began to toss.

Skye let out a high-pitched grunt or two, eyes squeezed shut. She clawed at the blankets, desperately reaching out for Chris. Her body began to shake, shadowy images of the past flashing through her subconscious.
Finally she snapped awake with a terrified gasp, eyes flying open. She was disoriented, unsure of where she was or what had happened to the reality she'd awakened from.

"I was walking to my apartment, do you want to go there?" Amber stood up and held a hand out for Callum. She smiled and waited for him to hold her hand.
