A loud Zzzzzzrt! Could be heard from the can only to be followed by " no no no no no!" the Bit yelled and turned into a red spike ball as it floated out. Callum just hid behind Amber " What is that?"

Skye was able to breathe easier now, subconsciously cataloging the sensation of metal on her skin as one of comfort, not of danger. It wasn't Pavel's tools, or the experimenting table... it was Chris' hand.
She traced his jawline with the palm of her own hand, studying his face with welling green eyes. This program would protect her. He said it himself.

Callum blinked a few times at the Bit which was constantly morphing only to find a form " yes! " which meant it was happy . " o-ok.." he said and gently grabbed the Bit. " Yes yes yes! ...no?" it was confused . so was he. Eventually the bit calmed down. " Thanks um...what's your name?" he asked the firewall.
