"That's good," the tomcat remarked. "That you won't let someone take advantage of you, not that you were attacked like that," Lionpaw clarified hastily. He fell silent for a moment, then mused aloud, "Why is it that everyone has uncle problems nowadays?" Three—no, four felines he knew with troublesome relatives of an elder generation to the side. "I remember the last time I was attacked by a rogue as a loner," the golden-furred feline shared. "It was terrifying. The kittypet I'd been speaking to almost perished in the attack. Luckily, he didn't…" The apprentice grinned suddenly. "Well, now that we've used up a good bit of energy, are you hungry yet? We can keep chatting closer to the fresh-kill pile; I bet it's suspicious for two non-warriors to be hanging around the edges of camp."

The feline didn't mind the warped speech, nor did he comment on it. In a way, he was used to such things. Living in the woods alone did strange things to the body, and one met impressively bemusing cats wandering around at times. As long as he could make out the general tone or meaning, he was good. "Do you mind the company?" Lionpaw asked, speaking almost unnoticeable slower than he usually did. He'd met deaf felines before, and he believed that he could assist without inadvertently insulting his clanmate. "If you wanna eat in peace, I'll go ahead and leave you alone."

"Whoa. Tigerkit, you could be a WindClan cat! And sure, Cicadakit!" Lightningkit had gotten used to Cicadakit's loud voice by now. He took off after Tigerkit, not even half as fast as him. @Christmassy Kipo @Wynter
