The tom rolled his eyes. What a kit! He felt his claws poke out of their sheaths, itching to shut this baby up. That was when she growled at him. Oh! She growled at him! "How cute," he laughed, creeping closer. She had turned her back on him, and he took that as a cue to advance. Attempting to cut the apprentice off, he stood in front of her. "Don't turn your back on me, kit."

He reached a paw out, attempting to slap the apprentice on her shoulder. He didn't want to draw blood, no. He wanted to strike fear into her.

A chuckle arose from the molly as Bushpaw mentioned sliding in the snow. Despite the frosty air that snow seemed to bring, at least it was aiding WindClan in their hunting ventures, allowing patrols to get their claws into speeding prey more easily. "That sounds like fun," Moonpaw replied, tail tip flicking back and forth from where it rested on top of her frozen paws. At the notion of training not being easy, Moonpaw blinked. "I hope it doesn't cut training short; the snow and all. But yeah, I could do without the chills. I bet that makes hunting a smidge harder, what with trying to keep still." As she spoke, she fluffed up her own pelt, having a little more success than her fellow Clanmate as she had been blessed with a thicker coat of fur - though not by much. "Bushpaw. Why'd you get named that if your fur is short?" The inquiry wasn't meant to be rude; instead, Moonpaw watched him with glittering eyes that showed she was only joking.

It was strange, seeing a look of pride on her families's faces. She had never seen it before, but Deadpaw understood how much it must mean to other cats, ones who actually received it more than once in their lives. His words rang true, that he had given her a chance, that he had been willing to let her try. But it still seemed so conditional. It was always something she had to fix, some standard she had to reach. Still, it was nice, so very nice, to have even a hope, a chance of some way to make her family like her laid out for her, and Deadpaw couldn't help but nod, imagining a (highly unlikely) future of her and Wolffang and Rosebriar eating prey and hunting together.
Taking a step back along with her brother as she continued to digest all the words he was saying, and there were quite a lot of them, Deadpaw nodded again, mewing I would like to prove myself worthy of being a valuable member of Windclan. It was almost as if she was hypnotized, forgetting so many things as her desire for being accepted by her family rose quickly to the top of her mind. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Why did Old have to fall into the snow too? Easily, somewhat clumsily, jumping out of the snowbank, and then faceplanting into the ground as soon as he jumped out. Not fun. Now his jaw was hurting. Stagleech highly doubted it was meant to be hurting, but he looked down at Old and questioned, "Are medicine cats supposed to be having fun in the snow? if thats a thing... can I do it? I'm really good at having fun in the snow." It seemed like something he would enjoy doing for sure but, he had to rescue Old from the snow because it was his Old and he needed her. So reaching down, he pulled her up by her scruff and then continued walking, "What are we looking for?"

Maybe the apprentice needed to go tell the ghost story of the rabbit toothed cat to the kits to dissuade any more tunnel exploring and put the fear of death into the kits because if they were all this stupid they were defiantly not strong enough to withstand them depths.

As for the lunge? Crowpaw didnt even bother to dodge the lunge. Watching with a raised eyebrow at the kit nomming on his paw the tom couldnt help but start to snicker. A shadowclan cat had broken the same paw with a bite semi recently and the sheer difference in the attack was as astounding as it was absolutely hilarious. Downright howling as he was Crowpaw let the kit chew on his standing paw as he reached his free paw out to try and squish the small scrap, pinning them to the floor, more than capable of doing so with his size. As whiny and annoying and bratty as the kit was he had guts in spades (or was it lack of common sense and therefor fear). "Yeah sure 'great fighter' your an idiot baby with no training. Ive trained for ages with skilled warriors teaching me fighting moves and the strongest thing you've ever fought was a mossball or a bug. I mean even with my skills I'd have to train you for stars knows how long until you'd even have a slight change of facing me with how little you know. But nice try whinybaby, nice try."

Heronkit did NOT like this big evil cat. They were going to munch on the leg wherever big dum didn't like it or not! No one insulted them and NO ONE called them whinybaby because they were NOT a whiny baby! This cat was the whinybaby because they were unable to understand the amazing qualities of MILK! but now that Heronkit thought about it, munching on this leg was a lot better than milk. Suddenly the kit changed from munching to suckling just out of bad habit and was not just sitting there and suckling on the paw not even caring that the warrior had them pinned down. He could whine all he want and Heronkit was not going to stop at least not yet. Because now they were whining so loudly Heronkit had to shut them up.

"I'm no 'IDIOT BABY' you're the one who keeeeps whining in my ear!" a grumpy face proceeded to follow that statement as steel green eyes stared into amber eyes. "ITS NOT MY FAULT! that I cannot train! Ive only got a mossball! No one wants to be in my company and no one wants to train me because they all call me a baby and that babies shouldn't train! SO! Big fat lump of FAT! get your pointies correct before u start whining like a cry baby!" and with that tehy went back to suckling on the warrior or cat's paw

It was another time and this day was designated to sending out patrols... he was hopeful that these patrols would be successful, or there would be cats demoted for sure... sadly. They needed the warriors but in truth they needed warriors that knew how to do their stuff.

First round though, was the borders.

Then the last border patrol which was going to be quiet, easy and simple.

Ah well he just got a rank and wasn't gonna get lumped in with the idiots getting demoted for not doing patrols so it was time to collect his group. Stars help him though if the shadowclan cat gave him trouble he might just 'lose them' on accident. So from where he was sitting the tom waved his tail at the two patrol mates rasping "Yo you two you ready to head down into the depths? We should be able to find a few hibernation burrows for rabbits and come back with a good haul if we're lucky. Fair warning though with how the tunnels are were gonna be moving through this fast."
