The tabby cat sat in the clearing, a small cloud of condensation forming each time he took a long, sigh-like breath. He had convinced himself that he was safe from the birds in camp, and that even if the vile creatures did decide to hunt him here, he was well protected by his Clanmates and by the camp itself. He allowed himself to relax, almost doze off. As his flank rose and fell rhythmically, his ribs poked through, and just to remind him of his hunger, his stomach growled at him.

Sparklight was bored. She had no idea where Applekit was, and she didn't feel like leaving camp. So she just sat there, plotting how to get rid of Dawnstar. She couldn't believe she had ever looked up to the leader. She demoted someone for somethign they couldn't control! And then when Applekit came running to her, crying how scar Dawnstar was and how Sparklight had to be careful not to break the rules because Applekit didn't want her to die... Yeah that just made it worse.

Berrysky awaited outside the entrance of their glorious leader's den, in hope of seeing Her Beautifulness, Her Elegance! Dawnstar was the cat they would be one day. Someday they would lead the Clan - no. They were stupid and weak, they would never lead a Clan of any sorts. Maybe they would be like Dawnstar, but they would never ever ever lead ShadowClan. They would just be a faithful servant to Dawnstar, always following Her orders and doing Her bidding. Berrysky fled the Leaders' Den entrance, deciding to plan on how to get themself into Dawnstar's clutches. On the way, they bumped into a ridiculously.. orange cat. Yes, she was pretty(!!!), but still. Surprising, shockingly, awfully, delightfully, pleasingly orange. It was weird. "Hello," they meowed abruptly. "I don't know if I'm allowed to talk to you or not, what is your status?"

Sparklight's gaze turned to some cat as they crashed into her. "Of course you're allowed to talk to me." The she-cat laughed. "You're Berrysky, right?" Without giving them a chance to answer she continued. "I'm Sparklight," she introduced, a smile on her face. Finally, a cat who didn't think she was a grumpy stalker who hated Dawnstar. Come to think of it, I am a grumpy stalker that hates Dawnstar. This cat seemed nice enough, especially for someone who just crashed into her. The bright ginger she-cat curled her tail neatly over her paws, trying not to be awkward. She didn't interact with others much... At this point, she didn't know how to start a conversation, or continue one for that matter. "So, uh... What have you been up to today?" Her green eyes sparkled kindly as she attempted to speak with the cat.

Ebonyfang was starting to like this kid. He sure looked like one of his favorites. He still had cats to go to, but so far he liked him and the one cat he couldn't remember their names. The medicine cat listened to his questions. He was expecting a few questions. It was normal for cats who didn't know much about medicine.

"At first it might seem hard, but it gets easier once you know what your doing. A great memory is a good thing to have when a medicine cat.", he responded to his first questions. He went quiet for a few moments, trying to get a better grip of the herbs in his jaws.

Once he felt he got it situated he was ready to finish talking. "It can be tough, but once you know all the herbs you just have to look at them and the memory of what they are come back. Plus you have starclan to guide you.", finished Ebonyfang.

She'd not seen him in quite sometime... well in all honesty she'd not seen anything, ever. So that wasn't something new. But Doetuft was unaware of where her apprentice was and well, such was luck that she bumped into him too caught up with the thoughts that were racing through her head at that time. "Buzzardpaw," she mumbled out as she took a brief moment to compose herself before sitting down next to him. Her tail was quick to curl around her apprentice and she pressed her scarred body against his in a symbol of comfort. She hadn't wanted to push him, in fear of making whatever fears and anxieties it was within him worse but now... she needed to talk to him because he couldn't go around and mope all day.

"Buzzardpaw. Are you... still struggling.. with your lack of sight... the fear of birds?" Because she understood him, understood fully where he was coming from, despite the fact that she'd been born unable to see and not lost her eyes in a traumatic event, she still knew how trauma felt and how being attacked from above was a new touch of unknown.

Berrysky blushed awkwardly. "I don't think so," they hedged. "I.. crashed into you, which is most inappropriate." Were they sounding too stiff? Too formal? Why were they wondering about that, even? They were fine. This was how they normally acted, and they'd never cared before. Be yourself. Berry half-snorted. They shouldn't be themself, they should be Dawnstar. That was the cat to be, their leader. Always the right decision in the end. Clan or Dawnstar? Dawnstar. "And yes, I go by Berrysky here," they added. "Other places.. well, let's just say the name's aren't as nice there." They tried for a laugh. Wow. That felt.. really weird for some reason. They never laughed, so.. yeah. "I've.. been.. " Berrysky paused. They'd been told never to say 'um' or 'uh' or 'er', but this cat seemed adept with it. "Just hanging around," they meowed quickly. "What about you, Sparklight? If I am correct?"

Silentkit purred roughly as the multicolored beetle skittered across the ground. It was so pretty! How could cats not like bugs? They were mostly harmless and pretty. @VALLIANCE @rosetherosey

Sparklight shrugged. "It's not a huge deal." She sat there awkwardly until Berrysky continued the conversation. "Why do cats call you names?" she asked curiously. "If you want to answer. And yes, I'm Sparklight, the one and only." She did a small bow, a huge smile plastered on her face. This cat seemed so... Formal, but then again, she usually was also. S she couldn't exactly judge. "I was also, just, uh... Sitting here." Not stalking cats at all. Nope. Never.
