Spiritfrost watched as he raced outta camp and looks at lil white kit. (Yes)

Marbledface listened to him quietly. She felt her mouth itching to say something else, configure the words correctly to help him heal further. As he nosed against her fur, which happened to be against her cheek she felt warm and comfortable. The moment of affection made her heart race and her body feel electric. Though she tried not to let it show other than her breath hitched for a split second. She could feel the fur along her spine tingling and raising without her consent. She peeked open an eye to look at him again. "That's what's important." She whispered to him. "That you didn't mean it, that's what makes you a good cat. Accidents happen to even the best of cats." She said softly, though accidents that happened to good cats also ruined lives, families even.

She chewed her lip as she thought of her own troubles. Though her family didn't think she cared, underneath all those layers of lies she'd told herself she wished that she could develop a better relationship with them. Though at the same time she didn't want to because that would just open herself to more issues, make her more vulnerable. Her family didn't have the strongest reputation in the clan either and at this point she figured going back on her words and bringing them into her life would only tarnish her more. Plus she didn't want to go through the heartache of seeing her mother, the molly lost in her world of depression. That's all she'd ever seen of Eversong and wished it wasn't so.

A long breath came out of her as she closed her eyes again. Just don't think of them, the molly told herself silently. Avoidance was a practice she'd mastered because of them and she would continue to do so. Probably until all of their deaths.

I think she was afraid that they’d be mad at her..." he tried to offer some explanation.

Swiftfang took no notice to when Burrpaw was upset. It was written all over apprentice’s face; the disappointment, the intense worrying, the anxiety. Swift knew very well how that felt, and yet he wasn’t willing to do much about it. There was no need to, in his mind, for Burr was no longer a kitten, but a warrior-to-be. He would have to bear his own responsibility now. He’d have to manage himself, or else he’d never become a proper, well-balanced warrior that could handle the stress of ShadowClan.

At each word, his face drew into a deeper and more worrisome scowl. All thoughts of Jinxflare were instantly vanished the moment that he stated words about StarClan. “Let me tell you this.” Swiftfang mused, bearing the courage to stand up to his full height. “I thought you already knew this, but I suppose you don’t. StarClan and SkyClan may have won the battle this time. But we are still in the midst of war. A war that will never end.” He said dramatically.

Swift’s eyes blazed with fury as he understood the apprentice’s logic. So naïve, so careless. He believed in StarClan, didn’t he? He believed in those small nursery tales that StarClan was the superhero of the clans, helpful and understanding, guiding their paws in times of misery. Burrpaw believed in those warrior ancestors, didn’t he? Well, he was wrong! “And let me also tell you that StarClan is not the friend, but the enemy!”

“I thought you were better than that, to fight against ShadowClan in the times we need you most,” he said, with disappointment creasing throughout his face. “I thought you knew not to fight for the wrong side! You didn’t know?” His voice rose with each word, bubbling up like boiling water.
