--PERSONALITY--
Overview: Bugtooth is incredibly careful with everything he does. Meticulous and cautious of his surroundings, he always seems to be prepared for any possible contingency, and one would think that would prevent him from being clumsy. Unfortunately, it seems that’s not the case. Bugtooth spends so much time trying to focus on focusing on what’s around him, that he ends up not focusing on where he’s putting his paws. He seems to constantly have minor scrapes and scratches simply from tripping over his own two feet. He is probably the least stealthy warrior in the entirety of ShadowClan.
Bugtooth is a very social butterfly! He loves to chat up everyone he comes into contact with, even those outside his home Clan. He may seem like a naive doof when you first encounter him - and to be honest, he can be at times - but he also has some very interesting things to say if you take the time to sit down and listen to him. Naturally affable, Bugtooth is a very friendly cat. Most of the time he just wants a friend.
This does, however, come with an unfortunate drawback. Bugtooth usually speaks in a very quiet whisper, sometimes so quiet that you’ll see his mouth moving but won’t actually hear anything that’s coming out. It isn’t that Bugtooth is shy - he just finds it difficult to speak up.
Bugtooth can’t function in difficult situations, especially when the attention is on him. Either he freezes up completely and regrets not picking a side, or he goes with the first option laid out on the table and regrets not taking the time to think his decision through. He always tells himself he’ll be a little bit bolder next time, but often ends up freezing up again. It’s a vicious cycle.
Ironically, Bugtooth is terrified of insects.

--HISTORY--
Backstory
Bugtooth was born and raised in ShadowClan. He’d always been a pretty happy-go-lucky kid, and made fast friends with pretty much every kit in the nursery from a young age. He constantly tried to drag them into pranks and jokes, but he was also the one who landed in the medicine den with bruises, scrapes, and minor cuts. At one point, during his apprenticeship, one of his pranks got the other apprentices in trouble. One of them decided to put a bunch of stick bugs into his nest, and that’s where his extreme dislike of insects sprung from.
Soon after he became a warrior, he met a pretty WindClan lady, and the two tried things out for a while. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. Bugtooth decided to switch things up for a bit, and started hanging out with a RiverClan tom. Turned out he liked both ladies and dudes!
