"When aren't they?" Crowspeck scoffed, sounding a bit pleased that Hallowstep was more calm now. "Leafbare would be crowded with prey before they stop scheming. But we'll be alright: of course, there's always going to be issues with them, but our ancestors survived, so we can do the same. Why? Is something wrong?" He finished, turning to look at the tom curiously.

Communication wasn't necessarily her strong suit, but she was making an effort for Hailpaw. "Uhm, so.. how have you been..? It looks like it..." Goodness, why did she have to pause so much when she spoke... No. No, it's fine. Perfectly normal. No issues here, no oddities... ...Wait, what were we doing again?

It was alright, everything would be fine - yeah, just... Talk. Small talk, like normal cats do - it was just that - so breathe, just breathe - the younger molly thought until Willowwhisper's voice rang in her ears. Oh goodness, had she not listened properly? Did she miss something? Hailpaw payed extra attention to the warrior's words, hoping she hadn't missed anything important. It didn't seem as such, so... All she had to do was stay calm. The silver apprentice took a breath, not too deep as she didn't want the other to catch onto her nervousness, before she finally parted her maw to speak "It... Does appear to be a nice day. Not any warmer, though, I must admit" She lifted her eyes to look up at the sky for a brief moment before continuing "I've been doing quite alright. Concentrating on my training especially, I suppose. How about you, Willowwhisper?" Hailpaw glanced up at the molly once she returned the question. It shouldn't be too long before they'd be by the tunnels, Hailpaw supposed, but a bit of talking... It never hurt anyone, right?

He listened to Crowstep intently, ears pointed his way. His response was quite delayed, causing him a few moments of nonverbal frustration.

"I've been having such bad dreams. I don't think they're omens nor prophecies, but..." he swallowed, "I can't help but be worried about my own thoughts. I'm loyal to my clan, but...maybe I'm too loyal."

He bowed his head to the other, grateful, "It's rare to find a friend like you," he commented, despite the fact they'd not interacted prior.

Rosebriar padded into the medicine cats’ den, attempting a better composure, yet didn’t do a very good job at it. Her limbs ached as though she’d been moving rocks and not fighting a large bird, and it didn’t help that she’d been carried and dropped. She could still feel the blood running down her stinging sides, and her head was a little light from landing - hard - after said bird had dropped her. Luckily, I didn’t hurt my head, and these wounds won’t scar, she thought with satisfaction.
The she-cat looked around for Coldamber and Snailswirl. Seriously, there was something off about those two. Coldamber was missing a foot. Sure, she was a medicine cat, but it wasn’t pretty. How had she lost it, anyway? Snailswirl, well, they weren’t bad. Rosebriar just thought that saying they was a bit odd. Oh, well, it wasn’t her choice. Although deformities were unacceptable.
“Hello?” she called out, her sweet tone laced with annoyance. “It’s Rosebriar.”

Crowspeck let a low laugh climb out of his throat, and he nodded. "It's rare to find a friend like you, but not unwanted," he responded. "And I'm sure those nightmares will pass. Perhaps, if you distract yourself with hunting or something, you'll think less about them? Doesn't sound very trusting, but you could try. Either way, you can talk to me if need be over those nightmares, or anything really."

Whitekit felt bad for her mom. She licked her moms leg in soft, gentle licks. I definitely deserve you mother. I don’t know what I’d do with a mom like rosebriar... she hissed. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Brackentooth paced the clearing. He hadn't went on a search patrol, but kind of regretted it, as now he couldn't stop praying and pacing in hopes Twilightstar would/could be found. (OPEN)

Coldamber padded out of the herb den and glanced at Rosebriar before returning to grab some marigold, a stick of cobwebs, and a poppyseed in case the warrior wanted it.
As she set the stick down and the poppy seed in front of Rosebriar, she began to chew the marigold and looked her up and down. She was awfully pretty, but heard some distasteful things about her.
As long as her rude comments were kept to a minimum, Coldamber wasn't likely to act snippy with her.
"So, you wanna tell me what happened? I sure hope the other cat looks worse."
Or dog. Or whatever it was she shuffled with. How did these warriors always manage to get into fights so often?

Rosebriar honestly hadn’t wanted the three-pawed Coldamber to look after her, but she was a medicine cat. As much as she hated deformities, and felg a little queasy looking at the stump where her paw should’ve been, she had to admit that a medicine cat deserved respect. It wasn’t like she had to silence her thoughts, but Coldamber was a much different case than Twistedface.
“It wasn’t a cat,” she meowed, trying to keep her voice casual and smooth, although it was tight with pain. “It was some kind of raptor. A huge one, too. It attacked me while I was checking the ShadowClan border, supposed to be on a border patrol.” Rosebriar allowed herself to scoff. “Yet the others weren’t bothered in coming, so I had to deal with it myself.” Her fur prickled.

Oh no, I am being weird... Willowwhisper thought, seeing that the young molly next to her was a bit... well, less than relaxed. This isn't what she was after. How do cats talk to each other again? How has she been? "Well, I've been good as well.." she said. After another brief pause, she remembered her manners. "Thank you for asking."
What else... training. Hailpaw had mentioned her training. "How has.. your training been going?" Willowwhisper thought back to her own apprenticeship. Goodness, what did she even do all day...? Run errands, maybe? Be taken on patrols? Although that's mostly all she did now as well. No, it's fine... see? She's even helping train an apprentice now. That's useful, isn't it?
