It was Tiny, it really was. Pit was blown away, surprised that she had managed to find them, but also so, so happy. Nala had done such a good job with those kits, and one of them should be around to meet the new ones. I see her. I see her. he purred, his own voice a bit muffled with emotion. Turning to head back toward the barrel, he mewed Why don't you two catch up and I'll go hunt? after all, with kits on the way and leafbare, they would need lots of prey.

It was her parents. Tiny couldn't believe it, and she nuzzled Nala back warmly as her and Pit both purred. She followed them back to what seemed to be their home, and nodding to Pit who bounded away, she clambered in beside Nala. Her voice light, she asked quickly What have you two been doing? A bit of loving by the look of Nala, she looked almost fit to burst!

her voice was warm and very happy different then the fake voice she would put on to get the kits to like her.

(I have a rogue names Foxear. I plan for him to join Windclan when they let him but for now he is a rogue. I would love for him to be the father but I don't want him to have a mate just yet. Maybe he can find Blue and they become friends and then Foxear can be there when the kits are born and the kits would think that Foxear is their father but really he isn't? It's ok if you don't like the idea.)

Oh no no. Gaia was going to cause so much chaos and Pallas could only watch as her younger sibling started going on and on about chomping plants and it was a real struggle to prevent the crease from forming in her head. Pallas simply didn’t understand and Gaia shook her head at he older sister. The elder cat had never had Gaia’s vision for the truth but Gaia kept her around nonetheless- she was good company! If only Pallas couldn’t die. Gaia was not looking forward to living forever without her... Maybe if she found the cat who chomped Pallas’ leg and removed it from their stomach and reattached it to Pallas it would make her unkillable too. Immortality was stored in the limbs after all- though Gaia’s was in her tail.

“Careful you don’t chomp my lives away, Pal! Then I would be killable like you. Oh, but don’t worry- I have a plan to get your lives back. They’re here somewhere, I can sense it.”

The mention of setting fire to strangers stopped Gaia in her tracks and she beamed, bouncing up and down gleefully with her eyes fixed on the coming group.

Cinnamon held her laughter in and hid her faint smile. She was resistant of letting Chief see any sign that she liked him. She had to admit, the joke was quite funny. Chief had continued to walk on, and hearing his comment, she went ahead of him. She trekked on, the ground crunching with every pawstep she took. The shadowy, slender trees seemed to be blowing in the wind, creating an ominous sound. They were getting close to the sound, Cinnamon could feel it. Before them was nothing but darkness. She really had no plan on what she was going to do when she faced the creature, but wasn’t aware of it. Maybe it was because she had a burning passion for action. She didn’t know about Chief, but he must have it too. Craning back her head, she looked at the tom with her green eyes which were glowing brighter as they went.
”So what do you think’s there? Still a mouse?” she quizzed Chief.
Yes, she was teasing him, but she truly wanted to know what he thought it was. After all, Cinnamon had no idea what other creatures lurked in the woods. When you’re a housecat, you only see things from a distance. You can never emerge yourself in the life of the wild. She knew prey, but what about predators? They usually didn’t come near her twoleg’s nest thanks to the smell, but she’d never see any of them. Once she had seen coyotes, howling loudly, but it wasn’t the same howl as this. This was louder, deeper.

Chief watched as she walked past him, taking a moment to study her. Definitely a housecat build - the years of ruggedness that clung to his pelt was no where to be found within hers. Nice groomed fur. She may have had to escape her burned-to-the-ground human's nest, but that didn't automatically erase the life of leisure that was still surrounding her. But the tom had to admit she had a quick wit for a cat who had spent a majority of their life cooped up inside. Plus, she seemed about as adventurous as he was, and that was definitely a quality he liked. Perhaps this one would be more than just entertainment.

"Perhaps a rabid pack of dogs. Or maybe even wolves." He honestly couldn't care less what it could be as long as it provided a challenge for him. It had been quite some time since he got to practice his well rehearsed battle moves. "Or maybe a hungry badger and its cub. That would make for a nice meal..." Absentmindedly swiping his tongue over his lips, Chief peered past Cinnamon into the darker forest. He still couldn't make out what it could be, and he halted his paws as he came to stand at his companions side. "So what exactly do you plan to do once we find the source? I for one don't plan on doing any babysitting, so I'm hoping you can handle your own."

Ruby was right, the noise could have been from anywhere and since almost none of the other cats seemed to hear it, Cosmo and Ruby would be on their own. "I say we check by the lake first, I don't think it came from the buildings, it would have been muffled somewhat." Cosmo gestured to the forest near the lake, it would be a good place to scout out for any predators that might be around.

She had to agree with Cosmo; if the noise had come from anywhere, it was more likely from the abyss of the forest that surrounded the lake. It wasn't that she didn't want to venture out there, but she was concerned about coming across the wild cats. "Well, as long as don't slip into the lake, I'm all for it," she joked lightly, tossing a smile in his direction before starting to head down towards the lake, snaking out around the corner of the building they had been in. "Let's hope it's something small. With it just being us, I don't know if we could take on anything bigger than perhaps another stray like us. You think you could take them on?"

[probably not during this specific one, but perhaps after this noise investigation cosmo and chief could run into each other and chief lets it slip that he saw him with his sister and says her actual name and cosmo realizes he was lied to?]
