Bluekit sat down too. "My name's Bluekit! To match my fur! I have two other sisters and two brothers and my mom is Ryebird. My dad's name is Snowfall but I haven't met him yet." Bluekit mewed.
(The father is roleplayed by Kipo Oak so that's why he hasn't met him.)

"Buck- Buckstar, G-Glidingfeather!"

Bluetooth's voice was a weak yowl as he finally made it through the camp entrance, a trail of blood in his wake as he collapsed in the snow. His physical state had not improved - body torn to pieces with exposed bone and his shredded stomach only covered by his fallen state. Despite the attack, StarClan must have felt some pity for him if they let him make it this far.

".. Danger!" He managed, the adrenaline wearing off in the security of the camp. He was.. so tired, in so much pain. ".. Sunkissed Creek.. coyotes, Redclaw.. not safe.." his voice broke as he spoke the name of his brother. ".. i'm sorry.."

And then he was gone, head dropped against the ground as he made one final sigh. At least his brother was waiting for him.

Bluekit ran into the clearing when he heard the comotion and stopped in his tracks once he saw a cat lying in the clearing. It was an awful sight. "What happened?" Bluekit's voice squeaked, fear lacing his voice.

Lightningstrike flicked her ears back as she heard the screams. She turned towards Bluetooth and an expression of horror over took the she-cat's face as she froze. W-what? Never one to be fazed by serious injuries, after seeing her face several times looking in the water and after the attack.. and the victims of the Dark Forest. She'd never experienced a coyote attack before, and after this? She was not excited for the potential threat looming over her. Now the danger of falling prey to a coyote seemed very real and very close. "Blue.. tooth.. "
"I.. " Her words were still slow, and she took a deep breath before regaining her composure once again. "I'm sorry." Lightning slowly brought her muzzle to Bluetooth and sniffed his ear. "Do you want me to fetch your brother? I can.. gather up some cats, if it's.. okay. I mean, I think I could fend of a coyote.. " Lightningstrike winced. This was awful, poor Bluetooth.. she couldn't.. just, ugh.
If he was like this, how bad was his brother?
"NO!" she screeched as his head dropped to the ground. "Does anybody care about the potentially dead cat lying here in the clearing? Hmm?"

Bluekit noticed him look down so he moved on to his other siblings. "I have another sister named Owlkit, a brother named Bouncekit, and another brother named Shadowkit. He's blind too." Bluekit mewed. "Maybe you and Shadowkit can hang out sometime." Bluekit mewed.

Buckstar hurried out into the clearing as soon as his name was called, and the sight that greeted him was neither expected nor welcome. He froze, eyes flying wide, at the mess of a cat that had collapsed in the snow, and the kit that had wandered near. He dashed forward to block Bluekit's [ @Fierceclaw ] path and line of sight, hissing a quiet, "Get back!"

StarClan save them. First Lionblaze and his apprentice had been attacked, and now those stars-damned mutts had murdered two of his warriors. He sank his claws into the snow, grief and anger forming stones in his stomach. His warriors were not those awful creatures' food or playthings.

"Lightningstrike [ @Cobra ], back up." His tone came off as sharp as he carefully approached the fallen warrior. No, there was no saving Bluetooth - the poor tom was already dead.

He grit his teeth, closed his eyes, and bowed his head, uttering a silent prayer to StarClan before straightening up again. "Stay back, all of you! There's nothing we can do for him. He's already gone."

Gravelblaze, Driftsong, Bluetooth, Redclaw... how many more warriors was ThunderClan going to lose this leaf-bare?
