Orpheus was bored. Not the boredest of the bored, but on a scale of one to Orpheus (he was a 10/10, of course!), he was a solid 6. What did that mean? Well, that meant he had to go find someone to bug, of course. His first thought on how to start a conversation was to go up and punch a cat, which would work pretty well as an ice breaker, but it’d also probably start a fight and Orpheus didn’t want to die today. His second thought was far more peaceful — collecting colorful feathers to try to stick in someone’s fur. He couldn’t think of any other ideas, so that was the plan he went with.

Hours of searching later, Orpheus had found exactly one feather… and it was barely colorful. White and gray. Oh well, it would have to do. Now to find a cat — hopefully, that wouldn’t take as long, considering how many cats it seemed were around here.

The dork came up to the first cat he saw, which happened to be…. a liiiiitle scary seeming. Too late now. “Hey! You!” He called, holding his singular feather in his mouth. Hmm.. he pictured it for a sec. The feather would look pretty nice in the other outsider’s fur. The colors would match, sort of. Maybe. They’d see — that is, if Orpheus could even get the feather in their fur. He’d try his best. “How do you feel about feathers?”

Cold. So cold. Brrrr. Eep. Orpheus wanted to be waaaaarm. He didn’t know how to get warm, though :( He could steal someone’s fur,,, or borrow some cat’s den,, or.. find a snuggle buddy! He liked that last idea the best. Now, to find a qualifying candidate! He needed someone.. cozy. Orpheus glanced around intently before setting his eyes on the one. A smile formed on his face as he quickly scampered over to them, eager. At one point, he was five seconds away from tripping before he turned it into a ‘cool’ drop-and-roll, pretending that it was the plan all along.

“You!! You you you!! What’s your name???” He asked, sitting down comfortably. “I have a job for you!” This cat’s fur looked so.. nice. Warm. Warm colors, too. Perfect! He hoped the cat would go along with his idea! If not,,,, er— well, this would be awkward.

Orpheus was spending a lot of time doing absolutely nothing, so when he saw someone doing something, he couldn’t help but walk himself over. He slipped behind them, not caring if the cat noticed or not - he wasn’t trying to hide, he just wanted to have a cool introduction.

“They won’t miss the webbies but they’ll sure as stars miss your cool self!” Orpheus butted in after the cat said something. “Aye, hi, I’m Orpheus!” He introduced himself, saying his name a little louder than the other words to add some pizzazz and specialness to it. On another note, he wasn’t really understanding why anyone would miss webs. Did they do stuff? Maybe it’d be fun to play with ‘em - stick em and claw em and tear em and stuff. He’d never tried it. Were webs edible? Food? So many possibilities, so little factual information.

He looked around for a second, hoping the cat didn’t go away while he searched for a web. It took a minute, but after walking around a small ways away, he found a weak little web sheltering in some low branches. He snatched it up before walking back to his fellow outsider, then set the web down before poking and prodding at it. Some of the web lines tore as he jabbed, and although it was pretty satisfying watching the bits rip, Orpheus wouldn’t call it fun. Hmm — so he could cross that off the list of possible uses. Err— maybe it was easier to just ask. “Whatcha need webs for, anyway?” He mumbled, looking at the cat.

Ash was standing protectivly infront of his 3 siblings. There was a huge red snarling fox looming over them, and their mother had died trying to save them. Ash understood his mother was dead, despite the fact he was only 3 moons old. The kits dad had died not that long ago to a badger, so he knew the pose and smell of death by now. Even thoiugh he was shaken with greif, he was still the biggest and bravest of his siblings. His 2 sisters, Petal & Fern, where crouched behind him, hold up their brother Fin, whos paw and been badly bitten by the fox. Ash was petrified, but he would die for his siblings if he had too, though he hoped he wouldn't have too.
(Ash is a russet tom with white paws and brown eyes, Petal is a longhaired gray she-kit with hazel eyes, Fern is a smaller beige she-kit with pale green eyes, and Fin is a small, spikey gray tom with brown eyes. Their mother is a longhaired gray she-cat with ice blue eyes named Ice, but she is lying dead with a broken neck infront of the kits. Fin's front right paw was bitten off completly, and is going to be infected since the wound is down to the bone.)
(Open for someone to kill the fox and rescue the kits)

A black and white she-cat moons ran up behind the weakened fox. She knew where to hit and leaped onto its back, growling before she bit down as hard as possible. The fox yelped and threw her off. It grabbed her leg and bit down, she hissed with pain, but then sliced deep into the fox's neck. It fell to the ground, dead.

First, a small black & gray tom with ice blue eyes slipped into the world. Jaggedfang expertly opened his air sack and passed him to Mulberry to lick. He purred. "Can we name him Embertail?" He asked.

Mulberry gasped as the kit slid. "Oh, he's beautiful," she purred. "Embertail is a wonderful name." She cried out as slid out. This one was a black and white striped female.

"How about Tigerlily?" Jaggedfang asked for the second kit, a she-kit. Then another kit came out. This one was a large gray tom with white stripes and green eyes @Bramblefire01. "What about him?" Jaggedfang asked his mate.

"How about Thrush?" she grunted, yowling again as she contracted. This time it was a dark brown female. Mulberry fell make onto the moss. "There," she meowed, licking Jaggedfang's cheek. "Four kits."

"And Cocofur for this last girl." Jaggedfang decided. ( @Firepaw8, chocolatefur wouldn't be a warriors name so Cocofur is better. )

Cocofur squatted where she was and peed, then began to suckle. She was already marking her territory!

Ash watched in shock and delight as the black and white she-cat came up and killed the fox, saving all 4 kits lives. 'Thank You!" He mewed to her. "Can you help my brother Fin? His paw was bitten badly, well, off by the fox." Ash explained and let Fern and Petal bring their injured brother forward. Fin's paw was oozing blood around the bone tip which showed. Green pus was also leaking out. Fin's face was glased in pain and Petal & Fern's were pale with shock. "Im Ash." Mewed Ash, the strong russet tom who seemed to be leading his siblings. "And this is Fern & Petal." He mewed gesturing to his longhaired gray sister Petal, and his shorthaired beige sister Fern. "And that you already know is Fin." Said Ash gesturing to his spikey gray brother. "Who are you?" He asked.
