Snakepaw was on his paws in a flash pupils thin slits as he took in the news. Windclan was invaded? How?! They were a strong clan how was that even possible?! And Twilightstar and Breezefeather, well Snake didnt have any personal opinions on them but if they were missing that also might mean; "Sootstar! Is there any news on Coldamber and Snailswirl? Surely Dawnstar isnt brutal enough to target the medicine cats too?"
For all his snark the lanky tom liked the two windclan cats and did owe Coldamber quite a bit for her kindness in teaching Snakepaw herbs at the gatherings. He couldnt risk going directly to potentially help the older molly or even try and sneak her herbs over the border with shadowclan being there but he still felt he had to know she was still alive at least.

Fawnkit was shocked. He still didn't know much about other Clans, but one was invading the other? His ears flattened. That wasn't right at all. He didn't know what he would do if his Clan was suddenly taken over by another Clan. It must be pretty scary to be WindClan at the moment.

Well, Brighttalon honestly wasn't surprised. Of course ShadowClan would take over WindClan. He didn't care much for either Clan, but he did know they'd been rivals. And now RiverClan was being dragged down into their problem because they had to defend the bunnies.

As Sootstar began his announcement, dread trickled down Kestrelwing's neck in beads of sweat. ShadowClan had invaded WindClan... Suddenly, it wasn't anxiety filling him, but anger. Anger that no one had seemed to take his concerns about ShadowClan seriously.
Without a word, he shot a pointed look over to Stormcall. He wondered what she was thinking now, and as the rest of the announcement came he didn't let his gaze drop. He sincerely hoped she could feel his anger from here. Personal wrath and his desire to put the ShadowClan cats in their place.
You once told me you could show me that you weren't afraid to drive out a ShadowClan cat. That time has come.

Shadowclan had taken over Windclan? Splashleap was shocked, and her face showed it as she gazed nervously up at Sootstar. It seemed like it might be the right thing to help, but would they be able to beat Shadowclan? Their cats were certainly more battlehungry, and what if Windclan was forced to fight with the dark cats? They'd surely lose then! They had to worry about Riverclan first. It was a bit selfish, but surely they would be of more help not all dead themselves!

A mass battle training session? Battle with Shadowclan? THIS was what Twigpaw was up for. He was going to tear those stupid conceited hairballs to BITS if Sootstar allowed it. Which was a potential problem. They might not attack, and focus on keeping safe instead. Which would deprive him of the opportunity to thrash some Shadowclan butt.
