His maw full of sticks, Pit could hear Nala's cry from across the area seething with cats. Wading quickly through, his sticks possibly stabbing a few cats on his way, he got to her quickly. He had no idea what he was supposed to do to help, he had never had kits before, but he wanted to be there. Crouching next to her, he mewed I'm here Nala. You're going to be just fine. as soothingly as he could. It was hard, he himself was nervous.
--------------
Tiny was not the biggest fan of the new cat, so she headed back. Fighting was fine, but she wanted to see how Nala and Pit were doing. And then she heard Nala's familiar yowl. The kits were coming? Now? She took off, speeding up to the two adults. Standing near them, she watched with a degree of fascination. She had no idea what would happen, but she wanted to be here regardless.
She yowled agian said looking up at pit
Fine? Pit give me the......
A contraction came as a little grey bundle slipped out of her.
She licked her kits head and then said
Nika. Your my little girl. My firstborn. Nika.
she had never felt this type of affection. As she felt her babies body heat on her. Putting her next to her stomach she meowed again loudly.
As the contractions came and went she yowled loudly.Another kitten slipped out of her and it was a Tom this time.
Not realizing but the words just slipped
Finn, your Finn.
She licked his ears and head as she tried to realize why she named him after her old mate. The one that abandoned her.
She didn’t have time to think as her other two kits where being born.
@Peril
Finn meowed. He had just been born he wiggled on his mother’s stomach and felt another she cat. She felt nice.
She was his sister. Finn? That was his name Finn? He wondered his sisters name. He heard his momma yowling and wanted to comfort her.
She smelt good and was soft. His amber fur brushed against Nika’s gray fur making it look like they weren’t even related. [/FONT]
Cold. So cold. Brrrr. Eep. Orpheus wanted to be waaaaarm. He didn’t know how to get warm, though : ( He could steal someone’s fur,,, or borrow some cat’s den,, or.. find a snuggle buddy! He liked that last idea the best. Now, to find a qualifying candidate! He needed someone.. cozy. Orpheus glanced around intently before setting his eyes on the one. A smile formed on his face as he quickly scampered over to them, eager. At one point, he was five seconds away from tripping before he turned it into a ‘cool’ drop-and-roll, pretending that it was the plan all along.
“You!! You you you!! What’s your name???” He asked, sitting down comfortably. “I have a job for you!” This cat’s fur looked so.. nice. Warm. Warm colors, too. Perfect! He hoped the cat would go along with his idea! If not,,,, er— well, this would be awkward.
Autumn
________
The ginger tom had been just... sitting. Minding his own business. Huddling up against a small box, trying to preserve warmth. There wasn’t much else to do in the dead of winter. His tail was fluffed up so it looked extra poofy, and the rest of his medium, orange coat was the same. Green eyes were absolutely zoned out, thinking of... food, probably, to be honest. His stomach rumbled.
Yep, food.
Suddenly, his wandering mind was dragged back down to earth as a cat scampered toward him and... tripped. Not moving at all, he side eyes the newcomer. "...It’s, uh, Autumn. You?" What was with these strange encounters he’d been having recently? Well, this was probably the burden of living with other cats. Protection and shelter, yes! Privacy, nope. "Uhhh okay?" He had no idea what else he could have said to that.
Had she wanted to stick? Pit wasn't sure if she wanted the stick or something else, but the stick was the only thing he was in a position to give, so he pawed it over. The first kit came out, and he felt awful as Nala yowled. It was his fault, and he wished he could make her feel better, but he was fairly certain he couldn't. As the first two kits slid onto the moss, he looked at them, his eyes almost watering. They were perfect. Different, but perfect. He was content to let Nala do the naming. He didn't care so much what they were called, only that they were his and her kits.
------------------
Tiny watched as the kits came. It looked very painful. It made her wonder very much if she ever wanted kits. Deciding to park that train of thought for a later date, she didn't have a mate or anything so why worry, she looked at the two, fluffy little balls. They were wet but fluffy, and looked about as cuddly as anything ever did, and she felt a bit of jealousy. They were Pit and Nala's, just like she was, except more so. Nala had given birth to them, they were actually related. And they were much smaller and cuter. She pushed it down, at least for the moment. @~dust~ @Peril

"can you please calm down and tell me why your fighting?" she asked flicking her tail doing her best to keep both cats in her line of sight
@Topazkit
@Fierceclaw
Ash watched in shock and delight as the black and white she-cat came up and killed the fox, saving all 4 kits lives. 'Thank You!" He mewed to her. "Can you help my brother Fin? His paw was bitten badly, well, off by the fox." Ash explained and let Fern and Petal bring their injured brother forward. Fin's paw was oozing blood around the bone tip which showed. Green pus was also leaking out. Fin's face was glased in pain and Petal & Fern's were pale with shock. "Im Ash." Mewed Ash, the strong russet tom who seemed to be leading his siblings. "And this is Fern & Petal." He mewed gesturing to his longhaired gray sister Petal, and his shorthaired beige sister Fern. "And that you already know is Fin." Said Ash gesturing to his spikey gray brother. "Who are you?" He asked.
"My name is Siren." The she-cat said. She walked over to Fin. "Wow that's a nasty one." She said mildly, not showing her horror. "Well you're obviously a fighter." Siren told him. "Would you kits like to live with me, at least for now? You can leave me if you want when you are old enough, but right now you need some treatment."
Leaf trotted through the undergrowth, sniffing here and there. He was tracking some prey, some that would feed both him and his brother, Marsh. Marsh had recently been injured by a badger, and had to rest. The orange tabby tom padded slowly to where Marigold, Death, and the other cat were talking, but he didn't notice them.
Death let out an impatient growl. "Just DO it!" Marigold looked at her paws.
The tom padded forward. "Come on Marigold, it'll be fine!"
Marigold sighed. "Okay, I'll do it."
Death looked up and hissed at Leaf. "Who the heck are you?!"
Red looked over his wounds carefully. Now that the dry blood was gone. she could see the scars recover much clearer. She looked up as the cat mentioned his name. "Well, Raven, my name is Red." she replied calmly.
"Well that figures.." Raven grumbled, having had noticed Red's bright orange fur immediately. He coughed and puffed up his black fur in an attempt to warm himself, then curled up into a tight ball. He didn't want to talk right now. Especially not to a rouge

Dogs, wolves, and a badger. Cinnamon had spotted dogs all over, but never a wolf or badger. She recognized their names, however. She believed wolves were similar to coyotes, just slightly bigger in size. As for badgers, she was unable to recall ever seeing or listening to a description of one. The brown-swirled she-cat passed by trees as she went, refusing to stop and share a glance with Chief. They were to keep going if they wanted to make it to the eerie sound that howled in the air. Although, Cinnamon stopped at Chief’s next question, despite the fact that she specifically instructed herself not to. Her claws unsheathed, gripping the ground.
”And I thought you were the one who told me to go here in the first place. Shouldn’t you have a plan?” her head swung around rapidly, a fierce green gaze equipped, staring right at Chief.
Her anger was triggered quite a bit by this, but then again, she felt ashamed she didn’t figure out a plan herself. Guess they would just have to go see and hope for their dear life that they wouldn’t get killed in the process, unless either they had an idea, or turned around now.
➳ Chief
Laughter rang in the air around them as Chief halted his own pawsteps to take in Cinnamon's reply. She hadn't a plan? How... very house cat of her. "You upwalker toys never seem to think ahead, do you?" He grinned as he came up to her side, offering her a wink and a smirk as the tip of his tail danced lightly next to her flank.
"Obviously, if we run into anything, you have the A-OK to just hide and let me handle it," Chief stated, taking off once more with his sights set on the forest ahead of them. "But, if you feel ever-so-inclined, you're welcome to lend a claw or two, so long as you don't get yourself killed." There was a hint of unusual seriousness to his last words. While he was carefree and unafraid of what lay ahead, the last thing he wanted to do was become a designated babysitter and have to haul Cinnamon's lifeless body out of the forest.
A smirk developed on his face. He thought too much of himself, obviously. Like he would ever go that far to help someone else that wasn't his sister.

[sorry this is late ;-; but yeah i think thats a good idea!]
Cosmo
_________
Cosmo followed Ruby silently down the hill until she spoke, but he didn't even have to think about her question, he could not take on the beasts of the woods. Sure the alleycats could be pretty mean, but the wolves were on a whole other level. "Not by myself. In fact, i doubt even with all the cats here that we could take on down. Wolves aren't a joke. They're even meaner then dogs." Sure, he hated dogs as much as the next cat, but they were like kits to Wolves.
"Which is why i'm glad we're just scouting for them, not actively looking to kill them." He chuckled.
➳ Flute
Flute allowed herself to slow her pace as she fell into step beside Cosmo. It made sense for them to stick together, and if needed, she could easily just push him ahead of her to distract whatever had made the noise.
With her getaway plan in place, she glanced over at the tom, eyes glinting. "Oh, I'm sure with the right pair of cats, a wolf would be no problem," she purred in response, taking a brief moment to flex her own claws. Not that she would be any help in taking down the gigantic beasts. But she could easily cause a distraction...
As the shoreline came into view, the water dark and oddly still, Flute cast her attention to the sides, nose twitching to catch any wafting scents. "Well, I think we can rule out underwater monster, because I feel like it would've attacked us by now," she stated with a small shrug of her shoulders.
// @:Grimmlin: [no no worries! i'm sorry about my lateness eep ^^]
Orpheus was spending a lot of time doing absolutely nothing, so when he saw someone doing something, he couldn’t help but walk himself over. He slipped behind them, not caring if the cat noticed or not - he wasn’t trying to hide, he just wanted to have a cool introduction.
“They won’t miss the webbies but they’ll sure as stars miss your cool self!” Orpheus butted in after the cat said something. “Aye, hi, I’m Orpheus!” He introduced himself, saying his name a little louder than the other words to add some pizzazz and specialness to it. On another note, he wasn’t really understanding why anyone would miss webs. Did they do stuff? Maybe it’d be fun to play with ‘em - stick em and claw em and tear em and stuff. He’d never tried it. Were webs edible? Food? So many possibilities, so little factual information.
He looked around for a second, hoping the cat didn’t go away while he searched for a web. It took a minute, but after walking around a small ways away, he found a weak little web sheltering in some low branches. He snatched it up before walking back to his fellow outsider, then set the web down before poking and prodding at it. Some of the web lines tore as he jabbed, and although it was pretty satisfying watching the bits rip, Orpheus wouldn’t call it fun. Hmm — so he could cross that off the list of possible uses. Err— maybe it was easier to just ask. “Whatcha need webs for, anyway?” He mumbled, looking at the cat.
➳ Gale
As she continued to back up, Gale didn't see the cat who'd joined her until he spoke. Letting out a yowl she whipped around, effectively placing her paw on the ground and muddying up come of the webs she had already. "You... idiot!" she screeched, ears flat and hackles raised. Who in the hell was this bozo? She'd never seen him before, and his scent didn't belong to one of the four Clans.
No, he was a stranger, a real outsider much like her. But she liked to keep tabs on every outsider. So why was she drawing a blank on his name?
Pushing the thought of his identity away, Gale took a few moments to let her fur lie flat - though it was forced. At his happy-go-luck attitude, she found her own sour mood deepened. Today was just an off-day for her, and her expressions certainly showed it. "I needed them to heal," she snapped, refusing to elaborate anymore to this tom. Her home was private, a secret, one that she kept hidden.
Watching him tear up some webs she had missed made her heart ache. She could've used those, as she was already noting that half of the ones she had were ruined. "Now why would you tear them up?" Disappointment laced her tone, along with an exasperated sigh. Letting her eyes meet his, she forced her eyes to remain still. "Who are you, anyways? I usually know most of the cats around these parts, but you... I don't recognize your scent."
// @hope [no worries at all! mine was kinda late too ^^]
Cinnamon rolled her eyes.
”Like you would care if I died,” she retorted.
She could fight! Maybe not well, but.. what was she going to do about that? She had no training whatsoever except for the things she had taught herself. She continued moving, still having the angered thoughts fresh in her mind. Why. Did. He. Have. To. Be. So. Annoying! Oh, how Cinnamon would give anything to be accompanied by a cat that didn’t comment on anything every heartbeat. And someone who’s comments weren’t irritating! Ugh. The marbled she-cat sighed. At first she thought her thinking had exhausted her, but it was the climb.
”How much farther,” Cinammon panted. “Even is this thing.?”
It felt they had been walking endlessly. Maybe every step they had taken brought them to the beginning, like a loop, and they never had gotten anywhere. That sure would make sense.
A contraction came as a little grey bundle slipped out of her.
She licked her kits head and then said
Nika. Your my little girl. My firstborn. Nika.

The kit wriggled to closer to her mother's bellybto suckle. After she was done, she purred and curled up. Mama was awesome, and she was warm. She let out a small content mew and dozed off.
