Determined to make it on her own, she shook her head. ¨I think I can make it.¨ She stood up, and was able to limp slowly after him. Her leg shook and she growled with pain, but didn´t stop going.

"Alright." Leaf said, padding into the trees. After a while, they came to a clearing. In a small patch of heather, hidden under a blackberry bush, lay a grey and brown tom with an injured paw. He looked up alarmed, before Leaf said, "Don't worry, Marsh. This is Marigold. She said she could help."

Marigold smiled uncertainly. ¨Don´t worry, I´m hardly in a state to attack you.¨ She limped into the forest to look for herbs, she knew there were some cobwebs here somewhere. She didn´t go to far, because if she got lost Death might find her again. I wonder where the badger went after it hurt Marsh.

Leaf laughed and leapt up to the lowest branch, and with his paw, carefully batted at some cobwebs. They stuck to his paw as he climbed back down.

Marigold peeled them off his paw and wrapped them up in a large oak leaf. Then she grabbed some more herbs and wrapped them up. ¨Can you carry some?¨ She asked Leaf, nosing two bundles to him.

Leaf nodded and picked up both bundles in his jaws, trotting back toward Marsh.
