Death rolled her eyes. ¨He´s making this too easy.¨ She muttered. ¨He´s going right to our camp.¨ Claw shoved Marigold into an old fox hole, and then waited for Marsh. He covered the top of the hole with leaves, and then prepared the other one.Marigold landed on the bottom of the hole with a thump, and hissed with pain.

Marsh ran through the trees, sniffing for the way they came. Suddenly, he felt the forest floor crumble under him and he fell into the fox hole, landing on his feet and growling at the opening.
While all this was happening, Leaf had wandered off after he had smelled mice. When Marsh fell into the den, he was stalking his prey, unaware on what was happening.

Marigold heard Marsh land. he two fox dens were separated by a thick wall of dirt, but he landed so hard she hear him. Claw covered the entrance to Marsh´s hole with sticks and leaves. Death was still in their camp, and used a dead rabbit to make a blood trail to where her and Claw´s camp was.

Leaf tracked the mouse for a while before pouncing. He quickly killed it and trotted back to where Marsh and Marigold were. But when he arrived and saw the blood trail, his jaw dropped. What had happened?

She yawned. There was not a chance shed be awake in the next few minutes.
She was exhausted but before going to sleep she wrapped her self around the rest of the kits and closing her eyes.
She quickly was swept into a deep deep sleep.

He then cuddled into mamas flank and fell asleep.
