Claw grabbed Lily´s scruff and pulled her off Death, his eyes bright with amusement. Death purred t Lily. ¨You messed with the wrong cats.¨

" I am not that old, but you look like a elder. Tell me, where is your moss nest?" she teased. Lily wiggle out of Claw's grip, clawing at his leg, leave a nasty scar there.

He growled with pain. ¨I will have you know, I´m only 27 moons.¨ He snapped.

" Ha! I'm 11 moons, you fox-hearts!" there was excitement in her in her voice as she ran at Death, trying to claw his face. "A'int this fun?" she teased.

Lily yowled in pain, hoping that that cat that ran into her would help. "You are." she purred, slicing Death's ear. "I'm just getting warmed up" Lily laughed, limping, and smiling.

Mouse let out a groan. Spasm after spasm of pain was going through the small gray tabby she-cats body. She was in the middle of a huge field with lots of cats and she was giving birth. Any cat or anything could come up and kill her and her soon to be born kits at any moment. Mouse managed to drag herself underneath the cover of a dying pine pine bush before her first kit was born. It was a broad shouldered black tomkit like his father Ember. The thought of Ember and the sight of her newest kit made Mouse sad. Ember had died soon after Mouse began to expect his kits. She looked at the kit again and saw that he had a small white blaze mark on his head, like herself. She decided to name him Blaze. His sister soon followed. This one was a small longhaired gray & white she-cat like Mouse. Mouse named her Marble, for her marbled pelt and black & white marbled pink nose. With one last convulse a very small black tom came out. There was something about him that was different from his siblings though. His eye lids looked different and his ears did too. There was a small cut on his lip as well, splitting it in half. It began to well with blood when the kit began to suckle. Even his suckling motions were weird too, more ragad than his siblings. None the less he still ate and curled up to sleep against Mouse and his siblings. Mouse decided to name him Hope, in hopes that he will make it despite a few differences that may affect his life.
