Echowind rushed over to grab Spikeykit by the scruff, but Featherkit had beat her to it. She turned back to the land ahead other, and saw... Whisperbreeze's den. She wanted to scare him a little bit, it was fun to tease him. "Whisperbreeze!" she shouted. After a moment, she yowled for him again. "WHISPERBREEZE!" Turning back to the kits, she began to speak. "You're safe now," she murmured. "Dawnstar can't hurt you." She cried a little as her mate came into view. She nuzzled him affectionately. "Oh, Whisperdarling, I missed you," she murmured. The older she-cat paused for a moment to catch her breath after the walk and screaming. "ShadowClan took over WindClan," she rushed out. "Do you... Have room for a few kits?" She turned around to Featherkit and Spikeykit. She realized she never fully told them what was going on. "Featherkit, Spikeykit," she began. "We - All three of us - have just left WindClan."
