Ebonyfrost woke up groggily, feeling a tickling feeling on her tail. As she reluctantly looked over, her eyes widened with fear almost instantly. What she saw on her own own tail was a spider. A scary spider. And she was really afraid of spiders. "EEEEK!!!! GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OF MEEE!!! ANYONE!!" she said, leaping up and waving her tail around, trying to get the spider off. "Get it off me! GET IT OF ME!!"

Turtlebreeze sat in the middle of the clearing, grooming her fur. The sky was cloudy and a cold breeze made the leaves on the trees shake. She enjoyed the cold season because it was the only time it snowed. She loved snow ever since she was a kit, it always seemed like something out of a dream. White and fluffy and it fell from the sky? It seemed like bliss. The only disappointment of Leafbare was the lack of prey and water. It was quite a big disappointment in fact, since every cat needed fresh water and food to eat.

Looking around camp she pricked her ears, she never meant to be nosy, but she couldn't help listening to conversations. Especially when it came to the younger cats. Turtlebreeze loved seeing what was on their minds, whether it be training, having their final assessment, or even sometimes a small crush. The way their eyes lit up whenever they caught something worth noting made her think back to her youth. Although, it had only been a little over ten moons when she herself became a warrior. She chuckled to herself, life sure got harder after her ceremony.

The old tom most likely already knew that she shared the sentiment, but the time for having more of their own had long passed them. Not that she minded, oh no she was perfectly content with that, she had more than enough litters herself and if she was ever feeling nostalgic, the nursery was only a small jaunt away. Most times she didn't even have to go that far, though, kits still came running over to her and Dustwing, just like....well, just now and it still brought that sense of motherhood over her. Poppycloud hummed sweetly and leaned on her 'winged' mate's shoulder.

Lionpaw flicked his tail. "It's leafbare so it might be hard to find flowers and stuff, especially since neither of us have permission to leave camp, but I bet we could find some decoration nearby." He beckoned Bluekit to follow him back towards the clearing, then tapped his tail on the ground. "Do you have any ideas for anything?"

Well, now that Stormripple agreed, they needed to find something to do. Hunting was off-limits with the recent increase in coyote attacks, as were most things that involved being in the territory in some way, shape, or form. "So… do you wanna spar?" Lionpaw asked. "Or we could chat, renovate your nest, or something else entirely."

"I don't need anything," the tomcat replied, not at all intimidated by the faux increase in size. He tapped his tail against the earth. "The question is: what do you need?" Lionpaw remarked teasingly, "A friend, perhaps? Some company? Or just a servant apprentice to change your bedding for you?"

The golden-furred abyssinian turned in surprise when something—or rather, someone—collided into him. He scanned the mystery stranger, his expression shifting from bemusement to amusement as a name easily made its way into his head.

"Yup, I'm Lionpaw," the tomcat confirmed, his voice taking on a cheerful tone. "And you're the amazing Applepaw who just so happened to get apprenticed to my friend, Falcon, right?" he returned the question smoothly.

Bluekit gasped as his brother's claws connected with his throat. "Help." He said horsely. He started trying to swipe at his brother. "Don't do this Shadowkit. I regret what happened to Owlkit. I love you. Don't tell the others but your my favorite sibling." Bluekit mewed quietly, his swiped getting faint.

Shadowkit growled, his motions full of rage as he lashed out at Bluekits throat more and more. Then his vision flashed and he could see. He saw his claws reaching Bluekits throat, him ripping it out, and Bluekit falling dead on the floor. When he was brought back to the real world he stopped swipeing. He couldn't kill his brother!
