Sunripple just sat there listening, awestruck. Why would the apprentice lie about this? But he just sat there, listening into what was going on. There was really nothing he could say, so instead he kept his thoughts to himself. If the apprentice was going to be this irrational then why would they let her be a medicine cat. A medicine cat is supposed to take care of cats, not hurt them. Worse yet, until Buckstar woke up, they wouldn't know for sure which one was lying. Although Sunripple was pretty sure it was Frostpaw.

Softkit stared in confusion, what was going on? Something about this Rainywhisker killing Buckstar...but that being a lie and it being a Frostpaw? She was so confused and baffled. And, wait, she heard something about the apprentice lieing to get into a higher position... that was bad wasn't it? She didn't know what was the truth, so she just, didn't say anything, not talking to either Rainywhisker or Frostpaw, although...she was leaning more towards the apprentice, no matter how hard she tried. || Closed, please do NOT respond, thank you. ||

Blueface looked at the medicine cat. would Frostpaw really lash out like that for lack of rank? No, he decided. no clanmate of his would even think about killing buckstar. but even so, if it was true, he would defend a clanmate when all others turned on them.
