Magpiekit looked at the new cat and sank down with fright. Her belly fur touching the ground. Her ears drew back. "Who are you?", she asked with a squeaky voice.

Badgerbranch's fur was bristling. He stared at the smoking Frostpaw, and then looked at Rainywhisker. There were a lot of harsh accusations going on. Most cats seemed to not like Frostpaw, so should he go along with them? He had been in ThunderClan for long enough to know that the former medicine cat apprentice was a bit of a wreck. He swung his dark-furred head around, dark green eyes narrowing. "One of you is lying," he hissed, somewhat to himself, but still loud enough for the other cats to hear him. He had to be strict and harsh if he were to get his point across. He lifted his head and faced Frostpaw with a sharp stare. Hopefully, I'm supposed to act this way.
"If Rainywhisker killed Buckstar, then why didn't you say that at first? Why did you wait until he accused you?" Badgerbranch challenged.

Rosekit padded into the den then froze at the sight of Ebonyfrost's wound. "Oh no! What happened?" She exclaimed, hurrying over to the wounded warrior. This was her chance! She could prove to her mother that she wasn't useless, and to Rainywhisker that she could be medicine cat, not Frostpaw, who was disrespectful and mean.

"It was... a coyote..." said Ebonyfrost, her voice trailing away. She shuddered as she remembered those huge, bloodstained teeth. "I'm afraid it has infected, for I have been sitting in the 'shelter' or nursery, when I got hurt. I should have went to medicine den." she said. Even though I know what I need. I know the herbs. she thought to herself.

"Just sit down and relax. Rainywhisker will treat you soon." Rosekit said importantly. She wanted to help, but she didn't want to risk poisoning Ebonyfrost.

"Okay." Ebonyfrost said, as she licked the painful wound in her side. "Meanwhile, I'll have some rest. Wake me up when Rainywhisker gets here." she said, closing her eyes. "I wonder where Leafshred is." she mumbled softly to herself. "I haven't seen him since the battle with the coyotes..." Ebonyfrost whispered.

Tawnypaw immediately gasped, her fur bristling happily with excitement. "Flutterkit! Oh it has been SO long!" My shoulder hurts but i'm fine!" She grinned, giving her friend a small wink in reply. She remembered her from moons ago. Darn, she hasn't seen her in so long that she looked like an apprentice already. "Holy, you look bigger than before! I still remember when we were smaller and hunted those two mice!" She purred, the tip of her tail curling with high affection (These two really needed to interact lol)

Flutterkit practically melted into a pool of orange-furred dismay when she saw Tawnypaw's wound. "StarClan's kits!" she squeaked, her tail bushing up and blue eyes going wide. "That looks awful! Are you going to die? Ohhh, you're going to die! Please don't die! Sticks, when I'm an apprentice-!" She growled, making what was probably a very offensive gesture to coyotes. "You're so brave," she sighed. "Almost as brave as me! We're gonna have the best time as apprentices. We'll catch double the mouse we did before!" She kneaded the earth with tiny claws, Tawnypaw's injury already forgotten.

A new thought occurred to her, and the kit grinned, nudging her friend. "So," she started, wriggling her brows. "Now that you're so old and matureful, who's your best... friend? As an apprentice?" She leaned in conspiratorially to share her juiciest bit of intel. "One of the warriors was telling me a few sunrises ago about how they fell in love with an apprentice from another Clan when they were your age! I never knew forb- forbee- er, forbiddeden love was so exciting! It was so romantic. Forget what I said about never having a mate; being an apprentice has to be the coolest thing- ever! " Her heart practically swelled out of her chest with longing, but she had to pause to catch her breath, which brought a momentary respite from the chatter.

Rosekit pricked her ears. "He was injured, like super bad, so Ashpool took him to the shelter. It was CRAZY, blood everywhere."

There was so much yelling going on it hurt her ears. Without thinking she pressed her fur into Barfur's. "Too mawny voices. Lowd.", she meowed in fright. Her ears pressed against her head. (what she was actually saying is there were too many voices and it was loud.)
