Re: ThunderClan Medicine Cat's Den
The arrival of Rainingpaw brings Rainywhisker to full attention. He'd been dozing, but in an instant (or as instantaneously as the older tom could muster) he is with the apprentice. "Tell me what happened," he urges, his voice ragged from both sleep and inhaling so much smoke so recently. As he waits for the younger male's response, he finds a sizable wad of moss (stolen from an unused nest only just recently made) and dips it in the trickle of water passing through the den. Without hesitation, the gray tom dabbles the soaked moss over the apprentice's wound to clean away the blood and debris.

He'd been out on a fruitless search until then, padding into the den to find another warrior mostly out of it in one of the nests. Rainywhisker retains a swear, lashing his tail and bustling quicker further into the den to fetch some cobwebs. Without Frostpaw, juggling the entire Clan on his own would be rough. He needed to find the time to discuss the matter at-paw with Buckstar soon. Returning to Ebonyfrost, he sets the small bundle of webbing down and first reaches for a bit of moss. It had become his first go-to for cleaning, as tongues were rougher and the tom preferred to keep an eye on his patient as he cleaned them, to make sure they were doing alright.
Taking the soaked moss in paw, he runs it over her wounds. "What happened?" he questions.

@ implimm
Cringing as Rainywhisker touched the wound, Ebonyfrost let out a muffled cry. "It hurts..." she whined, only then remembering that Rainywhisker was only here to make her better, not worse. "It was a coyote. I'm sure you remember that battle. I was trying to scratch it when it pick me up and shook me hard. After that I only remember the feeling of being of being flung somewhere and waking up at the shelter." she said. She felt the feeling of jaws being clamped around her and the foul smell of the coyote's breath all over again, and she hid her muzzle behind her paws.

Once his bloodied paws were clean, the gray tom shuffles further on back past his nest and to the herb storage. They were low on it all. Cobwebs, as well, now that most of his Clanmates needed bandaging following the brutal coyote attack. Rainywhisker can't help but let out a disappointed sigh. How would he ever manage to keep ThunderClan on their paws now that Frostpaw was gone? She spitefully kept what she knew of healing to herself, and kept any conversations with the other medicine cats focused around her and the drama she wished to stir. All he'd gotten from that lot was a few "Sorry you're the babysitter"s. Looking back on it now, it was almost infuriating. He kneads the soft ground with his claws for a heartbeat as he stares emptily at their supply.
Catching the sound of gentle rustling, Rainywhisker turns to see who had woken up, or come in, or started to tragically pass away while their only medicine cat lamented his duties like a teenager. It was Applepaw. At least she wasn't tragically passing away. The dark gray tom slips away from the dismal storage space to approach. "How are you holding up?" he asks in the quiet of the den. "Are your injuries bothering you?"

Her good ear caught the words that were spoken to here, but they sounded a bit distorted. Applepaw had been used to using both of her ears to hear, but now with one gone everything sounded... off. A small smile stretched across her face in an attempt to hide the worry beneath. "The pain has mostly gone away... My muscles are a bit cramped from laying down for so long," she replied, looking down and stretching a forepaw forward and extending her toes.
Her gaze traveled back to Rainywhisker - something looked haunted about the tom. "Are you okay? I haven't used up the last of your herbs have I? I'm sorry... I should've never gotten involved in the fight." Dismay laced her words as she hung her head in sorrow.

Finally the medicine cat apprentice was taken down quite a few notches - and Val almost smiled as Frostpaw's body hit the ground with a dull thud. She turned her gaze from the body as her lifeblood spilled out onto the dirt though, still not entirely fond of bloody scenes. Instead, she looked around at her clanmates, gauging their reactions.
That was when she spotted Cricketkit. "Gosh dang it," She hissed, scooping the kit up by his scruff and turning him away from the scene. Wasn't a warrior supposed to be handling this? Valley wasn't normally a kit person, she usually didn't care less, but no kit needed to be scarred by watching Frostpaw bleed out on the ground. She padded further away down camp before plopping him back down on the ground when the body was out of sight. God, was she gonna have to comfort him or something...? She scrunched her face up at the thought.

Cricketkit was stunned, and hardly noticed someone picking him up

Re: The Thunderwillow
Tallkit smiled and padded back up to frost paw and Cut and Pulled out her incisors, all 8. She had more teeth and smiled. Her collection was growing quickly! She was happier than normal as she stared at the teeth she had just collected from the dead cat.

Valleypaw stared at the little tom, having trouble reading his expression. "..You okay?" She asked. "Where's your mother?"

Flyheart padded in. “Urgh. Buckstar, is there any way I could get an apprentice?” he asked. @ Slushie

Re: The Thunderwillow
@ Slushie @ BILL.
Badgerbranch raised his head. Inwardly, his heart was thudding. Outwardly, he kept an iron stare as he stared at the white-furred cat's body. It was better that she was gone. Buckstar attacking Frostpaw had startled him slightly, but he knew about executions. If a cat didn't listen to their cue to leave, or took a crime too far, they deserved it. Killing the leader in his own den? That was terrible. He listened to the brown-and-white leader's words very carefully, giving a slight nod. He entirely agreed with what his leader was saying. This was the type of leader that the Clans needed: one who was willing to take the appropriate actions.
However, when Buckstar mentioned iffy cats, Badgerbranch couldn't help his gaze from straying to Hareflood. The ash-furred dark brown tom had always been iffy, if those were the right words for his brother's odd actions. Something within him didn't trust his littermate. No, not at all. Why was his fur prickling? Forcing it to lie smooth, he tore his gaze away and padded away since the meeting had been called to a close.
