The tabby hopped to their destination, blue hues flickered with excitement. "we were just checking up, right? We should grab some prey here if we can." he hummed, swaying his head back and fourth.

Leopardfire continued with his awkward gait for a while, before finally smoothing it out. He glanced back a few times at the tom following him, but wasn't quite sure what he was concerned about.

As they approached the pond, he opened his mouth to speak, forgot what he was going to say, and then closed it again. Thankfully, Rowanmist spoke up first. The spotted tom bobbed his head a little too aggressively. "Yup! Great idea!" he said. He turned his head towards the pond. Nope, he was just gonna stay on land...

He padded towards the reeds along the side of the grass, eyeing a snake that dove into a burrow at his shadow. Lifting his nose, he picked up a vole a little while away. He crouched down and slithered through the grasses towards it, trying to stay quiet.

She went over to the far side of the pond. Even all the way over here, most of the ducks had been scared away by the one that was going crazy. Fortunately, it still seemed like most of the fish weren't that disturbed. Her eyes soon got set on a rather large looking perch. Crouching down, she was patient enough to wait several minutes for it to get close enough, before finally striking out with both claws. Her face went down into the water as she tried to grab it, and she nearly missed it, but one of her claws snagged on its tail, which was just enough to get her teeth around it and pull it up out of the water. Looking triumphant, she killed off the fish to reduce its suffering and then laid it on the shore. "Look at that, little friend! It seems starclan blesses our hunt today!" Pausing, looking around when she didn't get a response. "Smokepaw?" She asked, not seeing him anywhere nearby.

his paws slid back to them area as he pens his paw on the stone. It was one oof the most gorgeous stones he’d ever seen.
Maybe he’d give it to morningpaw or spark paw......
He was beginning to walk back trying to be unnoticeable slipping. Back next to her

See! The duck was harm....

His thoughts where interrupted when he watched a shadow creep up behind him.
He gulped and froze when the duck had stood right next to him mouth foaming.

Junipersong started glancing around. Fish still being carried in her mouth. She finally saw Smokepaw frozen right in front of the crazy duck! The duck was already starting to go wild, snapping at Smokepaw and trying to close in to scratch at him or bite him.

Junipersong immediately dropped her fish and sprinted as fast as she possibly could. "Smokepaw! Get out of there right now!" She roared, aiming her charge right towards the duck. She was moving fast, but if Smokepaw didnt move, the duck would have a chance to bite at him before Junipersong got there.

(Also as it turns out, ducks cant get rabies, so this is just gonna be a duck with a different disease that went wild)

The tabby giggled as the other aggressively nodded. "You're in charge, so you tell me when you want to start heading back. If you need me to carry stuff to I can!" he hummed, tail thwacking on the ground behind him.

As Leopardfire broke off to one side, he went to the opposite side. Hopping and splashing in the freezing water of a pond. He stood there for a few moments, the water didn't bother him all too much, so he didn't really feel a need to move.

Rowanmist looked over to his friend, smiling a little bigger as he saw him doing his best. Well at least he believed he was doing his best! "Alright. My turn to pull my weight." he huffed to himself. Hopping out of the pond the Warrior began to look around, nothing seemed out of place. That included sleeping prey. Yep, all hidden away, it was still pretty cold out.

Heronflight just wanted time away from camp to go to Cattail Pond. She wasn't really there for the hunting. She saw it as a nice spot to think about things. Her adopted clan was falling apart and it scared her. This was the place she had found shelter in many moons ago.Before her death. Coming back she thought it would be calm, but this was far from calm. Heronflight dipped her nose down to touch it to the water. It felt nice on her tiny nose. She had grown to love the water even with seeing her reflection. All she saw was a confident independent she-cat.

The black and white tuxedo looked at Barkfuzz, jumping a little bit. She hadn't heard him coming as she was far busy with her catch. Heronflight gave him an awkward smile. "Thanks. This is actually my first catch. I mean I've caught prey before, but I've never had the chance to catch a fish.", she meowed, messing up on her words. She usually wasn't like this.

Heronflight looked around her. Yes it was beautiful today. She had to agree with that. This had to be her new favorite spot to just relax or hunt. It was nice here. "It is a beautiful day. I've been good just wish this clan wasn't falling apart.", she meowed with an awkward chuckle. (sorry its late)

Blizzardsky spotted his friend that he secretly liked sitting by the water probably drinking the water, he gave a small grin as he sat down quietly next to her and gently placed his tail on her,” Hey Heronflight what’s up?” he meowed not really sure how to interact with her as he was having more feelings for her, but suspected she didn’t feel the same.

Barkfuzz gave his tail a dismissive flick
"RiverClan will be fine," he assured. "We're the strongest Clan in the forest! Nothing can stop us!" The tom seemed fairly ignorant of the situation the Clan was in, but that was a common theme with Barkfuzz - he always wanted to look on the bright side, no matter how wrong he might actually be.

"I'm glad newleaf is around the bend. The cold is getting to be annoying. Besides the warmer seasons are always nicer. That's when all the flowers are growing!"

Heronflight turned to Blizzardsky with a friendly smile. Water droplets dripped from her nose. "Nothing much just wanted to get out of camp for a while. Things are a bit stressful with all that's going on.", she meowed. Her clan was falling apart, but she knew they could easily bring themselves up and find new leadership. Hopefully soon though. It would be awful for them to get attacked and not know what to do.
