Time as a piece of fur made enough sense. "Do you ever just wish you could get someone back who you never got the chance to say goodbye to." Silver asked out of the blue. She didn't know if the young cat had ever lost anyone, but Silver had dealt with so much heartbreak in her life it felt as if it was completely normal. Being born out of an interclan relationship, being abandoned by those parents, growing up with a mother you never felt close to, making only one trustworthy friend in your life and then losing them, and so much more, it was all hard yet easy to look back on.

Silver's question perplexed Pit for a second, and he cocked his head to the side. I think it would only really be my brother. Maybe. But I do know there are a lot of cats I NEVER want to say goodbye to. he added, firmly at the end. Nala, Tiny, the kits, he never wanted to lose them. He would rather he be lost than them, at least he thought so. He hadn't been in situation where he had to choose, thankfully, but he hoped that if he was he would make the right choice, which he knew was to protect his family. Why? Did...did you lose someone? he asked carefully, not wanting to pry TOO much.

Pit was the first cat to even utter a word to her in moons. "Some I miss more than others. And some I wish I had gotten the chance to say goodbye to." Silver said. She didn't want to bother the young cat by going into too much detail.
