Amberwing padded out of the warriors den, and sat down near the Night Stone, looking up at Blackstar. It was the deputy ceremony, she was sure of that. Maybe she would be picked? Probably not, there were too many better warriors in the Clan.

BlackStar looked at his clan thoughtfully before he began his speech "as you all know, it is my duty to appoint the next deputy of NightClan" he paused for a moment then continued "and after thinking long and hard I've made my decision". He then stood to his paws and said in a loud voice "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of NightClan is" he gave another pause "Amberwing, that is if you accept". @-Skyfall-
