I'm once again asking for Bouncepaw RPs.

If you don't know/remember, at his ceremony, Dawnstar told Bouncepaw that upon him receiving his full name, she'd want to see if he could hold his own against her.

This may have been an empty threat, but Bouncepaw has sure as hell not forgotten about it.

After the fight at the gathering, he's now even more worried about his ability. Even if he can overcome his anxiety, he's got no clue how to fight.

I want him to not only learn to fight competently, but unknowingly be tricked into fighting brutally.

I'm looking for either a Dark Forest cat, Shadowclanner, or very charismatic outsider to help with this plot! I want him to train to fight, but receive malicious advice that will cause him to be a lot more brutal in combat than an average warrior would be.

It would also be preferred if said cat could also encourage his paranoia towards his own clan.

Keep in mind that Bouncepaw might be easily influenceable, but he's not dumb. If your character looks, sounds, and breathes evil, he's not going to take advice from them.

He knows that biting someone on the throat is lethal, for instance, but he probably wouldn't see an issue with someone telling him that raking someone's belly, claws out, is a completely normal battle move.

TL;DR, I need someone to build an emotional trust with Bouncepaw, and for one reason or another, skew his perception of what healthy combat is.

Berrypaw could help a bit, and every time she trains with her mentor pass something on to Bouncepaw, if that's fine.

I think she’d be interesting so let me through her at you. So you might have heard about Nala she’s a cat that started a group in fishers point that’s pretty successful any way.....she will in the future take over all of fishers point. Maybe she could meet Bouncepaw while he was on a herb patrol and like at first try to ask him to join then like tell him about her life her backstory. He could tell her somethings about him and then he could tell her after a few times of the, just chatting at the border that he’s nervous about his fight with dawnstar.
She would be like dude why didn’t you tell me earlier you know I can fight right?and they would start training.
She’s taught all her kits how to fight dirty and her first adoptive litter started learning at 3 moons. So he would get some not okay moves. That’s just a though if you’d like me to give you her bio I can

Shrikepaw (soon to be a warrior) would be interested in trying! He wouldnt be too personally invested but would occasionally pitch in to help and though hes vaguely threatening (aint that most shadowclan though) hes civil and charismatic enough to put on a front. Meetings can occur in waking or in the dark forrest as shrike wanders there most nights

I could chuck Shrew at you, he isn't sure what he wants with Bounce, he feels a bit threatened by the amount of time he spends with Ebonyfang, but at the same time he finds it important he succeeds so that Dawnstar doesn't get mad at Ebonyfang for picking him. I could see him wanting to both teach Bouncepaw to fight well but also in a way that Ebonyfang might not like. He probably wouldn't encourage paranoia, but he would definitely let a bit of his darker side out.

So, I've got a rogue named Fabian, who is a charismatic little ass-hole, to put it lightly.

 

He is a former member of, wouldnt you know, Windclan. But, of course, he doesnt tell anyone that, nor do many cats know. His old name was Duskflare, but he never really liked that name. It was too out-there for his liking. He was a very outwardly-evil cat while he was still in Windclan, and he didnt put much thought into concealing his crimes. Well, until cats started to catch on. By the time word reached Twilightstar, he had ran from the clans, fearing his demise were he to stay. So, he adopted a new life on the outskirts of the territory, taking on his current name and training as much as he could.

 

He has become quite the good actor over the moons he spent as a rogue, gaining the favor of many cats who cant quite see his true nature. His manipulation largely relies on flattery, false promises, and gaslighting. Fabian has an expert poker-face, with most cats unable to see through it. Though he may be mainly brains over brawn, rest assured that he can pack quite the punch if he so chooses. Still, he doesnt often pursue violence. Not with other cats, at least. He is able to come up with convincing lies almost at the drop of a hat, with slip-ups very few and far between. Paranoia is a very vital trait to his personality, and is usually the driving factor behind many decisions that he makes.

I could see him potentially using bounce as his eyes in Shadowclan, if you will, and will try to convince him to betray his clanmates through subtle hints expertly woven through his words of flattery. He would teach bounce a very elegant yet lethal fighting style that targets vital areas and focuses on causing as little blood loss and as much pain as possible. If you have any questions, just lmk!

Of course you'd be my first pick! Bounce spends more time with Ebony than anyone else, he holds the most trust for Ebonyfang, so he'd be a lot more susceptible to believing that Ebonyfang is treating him to fight fair

Same deal with Ebony- he spends more time around Shrew- just by coincidence- than his other clanmates, and as his superior, Bounce looks up to and wants to impress Shrew!

I honestly just enjoy the concept, and depending on what happens it could become a long term plot, as I'm planning for Bouncepaw to eventually snap and start slowly intentionally hurt his patients (Very minorly, he might leave burrs in their nests or accidentally give too many poppy seeds, things like that,) and I feel like Fabian could foster that kind of mentality.
