Thistlethorn sighed. He was bored: he had recently finished training with Mistypaw, the patrols were sent out, and now, he had nothing to do. While it didn't bother him to have some peace and quiet for once-he actually enjoyed it- it brought about the feeling of anxiety and boredom. So, looking around, he tried to find something interesting before burying his head in his paws.

The prickle of anixety that crept up his spine was gone as Spiritkit squeezed his way in between Eveningmists front legs, contently bathing in his piney scent. "I'm fine!" He waved a little white paw in dismissal up at the tom, tilting his head up in the direction of where he assumed his claimed companion was facing.

The brown and white smudge in front of them had a potent smell of Rosemary and... fear? Worry? He couldn't pin point it but there was a faint taint of something sour going on.

All the while, his purr never stopped. The kitten was prickly but once you got past his outter layer, you were claimed for life by his needy little soul. And Eveningmist had ended up (unknownly to both) Spiritkits favourite feline in the clan.

Badgerbranch finally made it into the medicine cat's den. The tom's head was so fuzzy that it could've been filled with a bunch of feather-soft down. Hadn't that lined his mother's nest? He listed to one side. The execution of Frostpaw swirled in his mind, and he silently thanked StarClan that it would be Rainywhisker who treated him. The bite was big, and he'd lost a lot of blood while trying to lose that StarClan-cursed coyote. Being on top of one and having your brother abandon you was really no fun. His paws were all bloody as well, and he opened his mouth to gasp something out to the tom, wherever he was.

"Rainywhisker- I- he began. Blackness had nearly overtaken his vision, and he took a moment to actually glance at his side. Oh, StarClan. It was drenched in his own blood, and there was a large bite. Not taken out of him, luckily, but it was clear that it had been a big and bad one. A low, rumbling sound - part groan, part strain - was made in an effort to keep standing and remain upright. However, that didn't really work. Badgerbranch listed to one side and collapsed on the ground, panting. It felt like he would probably black out at any moment.

As Thunderchaser walked into the den, the apprentice started to panic. Was she going to be in trouble? Would the warrior be mad?

"No- No I didn't- it happened by itself...."

Tigerpaw hesitated, before padding over to Iciclepaw. She heard how scared the apprentice was, and wanted to comfort her. She smiled kindly at the she-cat.

Alright then. So it happens when your feeling some type of way that's what I've noticed. And no your not in trouble. This is an easy fix if you want we can go on a nice long walk. Oh and you ~she shifted her head towards the other apprentice. ~You can come too. ~she said moving her attention back to iciclepaw~
