Fleetwind hadn't expected to get a new apprentice, as far as he had known Hawkpaw was recovering and would soon be fit to train again, but perhaps something had changed he wasn't aware of. He hadn't been to visit the ambitious tom in a while, so perhaps he had taken a turn for the worse. Spotting Fawnpaw he padded over, dipping his head to the younger tom. Hi Fawnpaw! he purred, making a conscious effort to keep his eyes friendly. The kid looked a bit nervous, and he didn't want to scare him or worry him any more. @Fawnhearted

Mistypaw walked over to Stormpaw, a squirrel in her jaws. "Hi Stormpaw," she greeted her brother, settling down to eat.

"Hopepaw! Fawnpaw! Smokepaw! Stagpaw! Streampaw! Mintpaw!" Blueface's throat was almost dry. and there were still three more kits to be made into apprentices. he wondered if he was going to be a mentor, then pushed the thought aside. it was unlikely.

"How's your training going?" Mistypaw asked mildly. "Mine's going great. Thistlethorn is a really good mentor." Mistypaw really liked him. He was kind and patient and a good teacher.

Dustybreeze was tired- very tired. They padded into the warrior's den very exhausted. And then- just like that,,, they tripped over the edge of some random cat's nest. "HEy!"

Ohhhhh boy. Valleypaw's stare was quite harsh, almost enough to send the apprentice running. But first- she needed to apologize.. "Sorry! I- i'll try better next time!!" Iciclepaw meowed before scurrying off in embarrassment. I'm so mouse-brained!

"Yeah," Stormpaw meowed, taking a bite of her vole. "I feel like I'm learning a lot." (Also, Stormpaw's mentor is missing, and I'm still waiting for her new mentor to be announced. I think everything should be figured out on Sunday or Monday.)

"Same," Stormpaw tried and failed to eat and talk at the same time. She finished eating the bite of vole before continuing. "Tree climbing is kind of hard, but once you get high up you can see everything!"
