"Okay!" Mistypaw yowled back, before darting forward and biting one of its legs. It seemed to work, so she ran to another. This time, when she got close, the aggravated fox kicked her away.

"Mistypaw!" Thistlethorn cried out. Now this fox was getting it! He adjusted himself on the bucking fox's back and bit down again, this time close to the throat. The beast howled with pain and the warrior jumped off. He ignored the limping animal's whine and ran over to his apprentice. "Are you alright!?"

"I'm fine," Mistypaw replied a little shakily, getting up. "Just took a tumble. I'm fine," she repeated to reassure her mentor (and herself) of the fact.

Thistlethorn didn't buy it: he'd have to take her to Rainywhisker after this. He felt something sticky and wet on his shoulder but ignored it, more focused on the fox. The beast was still whimpering and seemed to be losing courage in facing the two. Perhaps it would finally leave?

Fizzlepaw's tail swished back and fourth with excitement. He loved flowers. They were always so beautiful. Maybe they would find some herbs too. Rainywhisker needed some right? Or did he do that himself. If they find any flowers that like their herbs he'd pick them up even if he didn't need them. The apprentice took his squirrel and buried it where his mentor told him to. he covered it up, so no cats could find it. He wanted to bring it back to camp himself and show it to Flykit. He would love it. "Okay! Go ready.", Fizzlepaw meowed in excitement.

Once the squirrel was buried, Sunchaser gave a little dance of excitement. Oh, how this had taken a turn! They could take a small break from training, right? In the name of pretty flowers! And perhaps some herbs! Yeah, that's it. If anyone asked, he would just explain that he was showing Fizzlepaw some different herbs. Like... cobwebs. And... what was the other one?

"Okie dokie! Let's get a move on - since it's newleaf, there should be a nice new patch of dandelions blooming! Ooh, or maybe some buttercups!" With each thought of what might await them, his hope grew. This would be much more splendid than training. "Come on, let's go!" With that he bounded off, looking over his shoulder to make sure his apprentice had known to follow him.

Mistypaw got up and snarled at it, fluffing up her fur to seem bigger than she really was. If her mentor joined her, Mistypaw was certain that the fox would run.

Hazecloud rushed over to the tom in panic, and began to help him attack on that side. Still shaking, she leaped forward towards the foxes side, claws out, aiming to hit it's legs. She thought she might be able to trip it, but in all this panic, it felt like she only knew one move.

Stormfang joined in, snarling in rage as he swiped at muzzle, feeling a surge of triumph as blood sprayed the air. The fox howled in pain and he leaped back as it snapped for his eyes.
