Kestrelsplash walked through the territory, glancing over her shoulder to make sure nothing was coming after her. He recognized this and shook his head. Now that she was carrying kits it was like he always had to keep his eyes on her. He completely tossed the idea that she could still protect herself. He eventually got to RiverClans entrance, turning to
his mate and nudging her towards the Nursery.

"Alright, we're here. Now lets get you into the Nursery. We can tell the other Queens about your kits if you'd like to tell someone." His heart raced with panic still; what if a badger came into camp and came for the Nursery right when she was coming in or getting settled? Anything could happen and get her hurt!

Aspenleaf padded into the clearing with a couple mice dangling from her jaws. She carefully set them in the fresh-kill pile and went over to the shade, sitting down and starting to groom her fur.

Aspenleaf perked her ears and looked over at Fernstream and Kestrelsplash. “Well congratulations you two.” She said with a small yawn, wondering if she herself would have a mate or kits one day.
