"Well, deaf and blind cats can be warriors, so I don't see why you can't," Sparkpaw hummed, licking a paw. "You can walk, so you can hunt, and you can fight. You can see and hear anything around you, and be prepared for that. Besides, being a warrior is more than just physical abilities, isn't it?"

Hawkpaw smiled. "Sure." He really liked this apprentice, she was nice. He felt strong feelings toward her, of love, but not in a mate-like way. In a fatherly-like way, in a protective way.
