Icestrike woops and hollers for all of the new apprentices, and the new warrior, despite the fatigue from the prior events creeping in.

Toadpaw cheered Fishfreckle! She very much did not care that they had a new warrior since she wasn't the new warrior, thought she pretended to care. She listened to what Larkwing had to say, bored, though she pretended to be interesed. She was staying. After all she couldn't become leader if she left. Of course, the blind apprentice kept the reason she was staying to herself.

Deerkit cheered Fishfreckle! She knew that it was good that they had a new warrior. When Larkstar told them about all of the new exiles the kit sighed. Why couldn't adult cats just behave? She didn't know. She just didn't know. Oh and she didn't know why anyone would leave since she loved her home.

Rabbitkit and Blossomkit cheered Fishfreckle. They wanted to be apprentices! Why couldn't they be apprentices?! She wasn't suprised that Ottersplash wasn't the only cat Larkstar had recently exiled because adult cats were weird and always did stuff that didn't make any sense. They didn't leave because they liked RiverClan even if the grown-up cats in RiverClan almost never made sense.

Wishkit cheered Fishfreckle. She knew that most kits wanted to become apprentices but she didn't. Mostly because she would have to become a warrioe apprentice and then she would learn how to fight. She didn't want to learn how to fight because she hated fighting. A lot. And she would hate it forever. Like how she wouldn't ever like swimming because she was too nervous around water to ever feel safe in it and had been since the flood. Oh and two cats who weren't Ottersplash had gotten exiled like Ottersplash. She wasn't surprised because adult cats always did weird things. Like fight. She hated fighting. And yes, she knew that she just thought about how much she hated fighting. Especially with your clanmates. She didn't leave because she liked RiverClan even if she would have to learn how to fight even thought she hated fighting. Even play-fighting.

Sparrowkit cheered Fishfreckle! She sighed when Larkstar told them that a few cats that weren't Ottersplash had been exiled recently as well. Not that she was suprised. After all grown-up cats were weird. Sparrowkit didn't want to leave cause she loved RiverClan! Why would she want to leave? Why would anybody want to leave? SHe didn't know and she doubted she ever would.

Beekit smelled everything, especially the grass and felt the grass next to Deerkit, completely unaware that anything was going on.

Bunnytuft nodded as Larkstar spoke, agreeing with what the leader said. “Serves those cats right. Filthy traitors who’re ungrateful for what they have.” The cat remarks, swishing his tail irritably. He was never too fond of kits, but he certainly didn’t think they should be injured. Those were RiverClans future warriors after all.

Tulipkit cheered loudly for the new warrior, while listening to what Larkstar had to say about the ex RiverClanners. It didn’t really concern her, but she listened anyways.

A warrior ceremony then. Ripplepelt's whiskers twitched in approval. With so many cats against Larkstar, it was good to see Fishpaw rewarded for standing by her side. This decision and her decision to appoint Birdsnow deputy both spoke volumes, regardless of her own opinions on the matter - Larkstar valued loyalty, and would reward it in kind.

Ripplepelt joined in the chanting for the new warrior. "Fishfreckle!" she called, pleased to have another pelt to help warm the warriors den in the leafbare cold. With any luck, he wasn't as rude in everyday interactions as his speech had suggested.

As Larkstar moved on and spoke of the traitors who had been within their ranks, Ripplepelt's tail lashed. As if they didn't have enough problems with loners and rogues, RiverClan warriors seemed to be making it their mission to join their ranks. She wasn't one for unnecessary measures, but if she saw those traitors on their territory, they wouldn't be returning.

IvoryNight and PeachHeart chanted the names of the cat(s) who had just had ceremonies, choosing to focus on the more positive parts of the meeting.

At Fishpaw's words of agreement, Larkstar can't help but pause for just a heartbeat too long. She wasn't confident he actually believed in his words, but she'd have to take them at face value for the time being. There was a time and place to question him, and now was not it.

"Then, by the powers of StarClan," 'not that StarClan's given me any reason to think they approve of me,' her mind added bitterly, but she continued on, ignoring the twinge of distaste and the way it curled around her tongue. "I give you your warrior name. Fishpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Fishfreckle. StarClan honors your insight and passion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of RiverClan." Pause for another beat and then lead the chanting of his name, her personal feeling about this set aside for the time being.

After the clan finished welcoming the new warrior, Larkstar let them celebrate him for a moment longer before she moved on to the next topic of discussion."We've recently had to exile a couple cats," she starts, "Sootpelt made an attempt on Birdsnow's life, if you see her around the territory, do with her what you see fit - she's not welcome back here. Similarly, Weaseltooth was also exiled for attempting to seriously injure a couple of kits. He's been exiled for this as well, however, two of the kits who he almost killed saw it fit to join him, claiming they felt I was unfair and that they didn't like how I'm running my own clan. If any of you feel similarly, by all means speak up now or get out." Maybe she still had some of the anger from earlier creeping into her voice, she didn't mean to come across as pissed, but perhaps they'd take her more seriously if she was angry. "As for the other exile, Ottersplash is to be killed if you see her on RiverClan territory and her corpse delivered to ThunderClan." Before the rest of her news, she stops to see reactions from the clan - to see if anyone left.

Smolderpaw, joining the cheering and also being slightly sad at the mention of his 2 siblings.
Charredpaw went silent entirely.
Frostpaw just grunted, deciding to reveal his new scar by lifting his head to look at Larkstar.
Treestripe gasped loudly.
Eaglecall looked shocked.

More quiet listening. She chanted Fishfreckle's name as loudly as she could, hoping to catch his attention, but her head was buzzing. Why couldn't anything here just stay stable? She knew it was stable when she was a kit, but that was the last stable time she could think of and she didn't even really remember it. Instead warriors were trying to hurt kits and kill each other.

Weepingpaw shifted his small paws forward and backward. His shy tone soft but Larkstar could still hear him. It was actually the first time Weepingpaw had spoke to his leader, or in front of his clanmates. Weepingpa had a weirdly silky soft and honey soothing tone. Almost as if he could convince a silly kit that a beetle was a bird. "L-larkstar. What if an apprentice... such a-as me or Willowpaw... um... if we see Ottersplash and uh.... uhm w-were like hunting.... or alone or something.... do... do we run back.... O-or do we always need a warrior with us... o-or." Weepingpaw stuttered, his mew fading to a shy and self-concious whisper by the end. His tail between his hind legs in light fear of being judged.
