Fernstream tilted her head. "Why are you pulling you ears back?" she asked curiously.
Kestrelsplash glanced at Fernstream, then continued. "It's probably nothing. Look, can I get you something to eat?" He completely forgot he had given her fish just a bit ago at the Cattail Pond.

Dawnmuzzle looked at him. ¨Could you get me a fish, too?"SHe asked.
And of course, almost as if on cue, there it was. He knew it was too good to be true, a quiet meal all to himself. Someone always had to be batting for his attention. With a snort, Kestrelwing glared up at Bumblebelly, who seemingly towered over him. What was such a big cat doing in RiverClan? ”I don’t run anything, other than running off those who interrupt my meal,” he snapped with a subtle lash of his tail. He only knew of this tom’s name - nothing else. And to be honest he didn’t care to know.
That was, until a familiar name came up. Sootstar.. Kestrelwing hadn’t caught sight of him since their meeting in the territory moons ago. His pelt bristled at the mere mention of the former leader, and his traitorous acts that had left RiverClan with only Snakeheart and Lionstorm in charge. ”Oh so we’re seeing dead cats now are we? Good to know,” the tabby scoffed, going back to his prey. He had no intention of carrying on a conversation so he took a bite of trout, chewing forcefully and trying to ignore the large tom standing blatantly at his side.
Oh, so he was an ass? Brilliant. Bumblebelly let out a big loooong sigh. His fluffy maned chest almost deflating at the meer exhalation of air. Starclan, just give him a happy cat for once! Either way, he forced a smile to his lips, and left his body relax.
A small chuckle rolled smoothly from his tongue as Bumblebelly flicked his ears forward, offering a smile as sweet as honey. "The irony of that statement..." he mumbled the meow more to himself before speaking up. "If my brother is dead, I'd love to know what cat walked me all the way back home." The smokey tabby tom let a thick brow raise up. "Sootflare isn't dead. I shared a meal with him merely half a moon ago."

He'd been ready to just focus on his meal, to wash away the presence of a rather annoyingly positive Clanmate, when Bumblebelly's next statement caught him off guard. Snapping his head up Kestrelwing's gaze shot to the tom's face, eyes already narrowed. What? What??
Abandoned was the trout, only one bit taken out of it, as Kestrelwing rose to his paws, fur beginning to rise up. "Where?" It was a demand, not a question, and his tone implied that the warrior required an answer now. His tail lashed behind him, and for the sake of the rest of RiverClan he could not let this information get out. He, Lionstorm, and Snakeheart had already decided that the true reason for Sootflare's disappearance most likely was death - the new of him actually being alive threatened to destroy any unity they had begun to build since.
This was his brother? Had Sootflare really disregarded his threat a moon or so ago about coming back onto RiverClan territory? Oh, he'd hunt the traitor down. More than dirt would be used this time, and Kestrelwing had no qualms about taking out his claws and teeth for it. As far as he was concerned, Sootflare was a wretched fox-heart, a problem that apparently needed to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
Deerwing padded out of the nursery, relieved to feel the sunlight on her back. Ghostkit still worried her, but there wasn't much she could do. Maybe the kit would open up eventually. Deerwing padded over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a chub before heading to a secluded corner of the camp to settle down and eat.

Jaynose padded into the RiverClan camp after a successful hunt. She plopped a few fish down onto the fresh-kill pile and picked a different one up for herself. Looking for a spot to eat, Jaynose spotted one of the queens. Deerwing, she thought. I think that’s her name. Jaynose padded over and set her fish down next to Deerwing. ”Hello, may I sit with you?”
Spiderpaw hung out in the clearing because she really didn't have much else to do. She poked at the ground to make little figures with her claws, but she wasn't that invested in doing anything. Maybe she'd just chill here like a day off. That sounded nice.
Aspenleaf padded into the clearing with a sigh and laid down in the shade. Another cool, cloudy day. There wasn’t much to do on days like these, especially for warriors that didn’t have apprentices or were yet to be assigned patrols. Alas, that was the position Aspenleaf was in. She flicked her tail and started to groom her face, thinking it would give her at least something to do.

Deerwing dipped her head. "Hello, Jaynose. I'm not waiting for anyone, go ahead." It had been a while since Deerwing interacted with her fellow warriors. She wasn't even sure that she was that good at hunting anymore. And it's not like she could go out and practice, since Ghostkit would be waking up any moment now and wondering where she was.

How Jake died: He was struck by a meteor while sitting on a fence.
Don't believe me? Google it. Remember: At the end of the day, Bonekit will always be the bigger baby!
The new Riverclanner sat in the camp clearing. He was bored out of his mind and he didn't know anyone, but Gentlefoot and Dayheart. He had been here for a couple of day. He sort of knew thecamp as Gentlefoot had showed him around, but he hadn't really been out and shown the territory. Maybe someone would love tp go take him out and show him around or jot. He was new and he hadn't been announced yet.
Fizzlepaw looked around at all teh new cats. Scents were new and hopefully soon he'd know everything by name. Well if he could remember their names. The pale ginger tom laid down and placed his head down on his front paws.
The apprentice wondered where Lionstorm was. He'd seen him before at gatherings, but he hadn't been looked over by him, so how was he sure if he was really accepted into the clan. He only had Dayheart's word for it, but he had been in charge of his joining, so he had to really be accepted right? He hoped so.
He was far too scared to take anything off the pile if he wasn't. Fizzlepaw calmed himself down after seeing that he had started shaking. He missed Sunchaser, but he woukd never go back. No Buckstar was the worst leader ever. He came here for a better life.

@Angelique
Aspenleaf saw Fizzlepaw alone. She hadn’t seen him eat anything since he had arrived. Was he trembling? She blinked and stood up, padding over to the young cat. “Are you okay?” She asked, sitting down next to him.
