To prove her point, she looked around at her clanmates who were pleasantly going about their activities.

"So, um, I was gonna ask if you wanted to go for a swim?" Her meow was hopeful. "Of course, we'll have to be quite close to shore due to my fur and your...eyes." She winced at the last word. One thing that they had in common was that they had limits when they were fishing or swimming; Mistyeyes's blindness and her thick fur that would quickly get heavy in the water.
Mistyeyes smiled as he fet her nose against his, blushing slightly, it was something he had always liked to feel, but only coming from her, but h gave a nod, this was indeed true. "Well, true, we've all been quite busy..." He admitted and licked her nose to show that he knew where she was. "I sure wouldn't mind going out of camp with you, but... Not for a swim, there are things we need to make clear..." He said and spun towards the camp's entrance. "Come on now, Wavesplash." He mewed and blindly looked in her direction, smiling before he stepped out of camp, often sniffing the air to smell her scent, which was slowly getting farther away behind him, so he stopped and waited.

Wavesplash quickly trotted after Mistyeyes. "...things we need to make clear?" She echoed, quite confused.
"Mistyeyes, I'm afraid I don't understand..." Twitching her nose, she followed him. Perhaps he had a surprise for her? Or maybe he was secretly mad at her?
(sorry it's short. i cant think of anything else)

They should all be proud, in his opinion, of her since this was one more cat close to being an honorable warrior to bring in prey to feed their kittens and elders. He was certainly proud of the young apprentice and was glad to see her so happy after the successful hunt. Sproutwhisker looked at a few clanmates, some were grooming and others were conversing over a piece of prey, as they passed them, giving the clanmates a gentle smile. When the tom-cat turned back to look towards his apprentice, he saw her looking at him, the limp prey hanging between her jaws. Sproutwhisker gave her a pleased smile and a slight nod of his head to Noirepaw, knowing how important of a moment this was to her. He couldn’t wait to teach her more in the future.

At this time, the black-and-white furred warrior thought back to his own training when he was her age. It was quite difficult when he first started being an official clan member. With the strict ways of Snowheart and the teasing of the other apprentices because he wasn’t clanborn, getting to where he was today was no easy task and he was proud of himself for never giving up in the end. Sproutwhisker lifted his head to look up at the sky that peeked through the trees. Would Ripplewhisker be proud of him now? Seeing him as a warrior, but also a mentor, teaching the youth of the clan to make them strong and ready to defend the clan. He dipped his head, closing his eyes for a moment, promising once again to never lose sight on his path and where his loyalties lied. That was what his adopted father taught him. He missed him so dearly these days.

Breaking from his thoughts, the tom-cat gave a tired yawn and shook his head, quickening his pace over to Noirepaw as she rested her prey among the rest in the freshkill pile. He looked at the small she-cat as she looked up at him, her eyes seeming to gleam so proudly and he smiled, his whiskers twitching slightly. Sproutwhisker chuckled slightly and nodded. “Yes, you certainly did.” He purred, “I’m so proud of you, Noirepaw and I know that all of Riverclan must be too.” Like her, he sat down on his haunches as they rested and continued their conversation as the sun was slowly going down and despite the darkened grey clouds, the clear sky did show at some patches, which casted an orange colored glow onto the camp. Her question made him think for a moment. “Hmm..” The mentor hummed, putting a paw to his chin, “I was thinking that we could try out hunting in the water tomorrow - which also brings another lesson forth. Since you’ve had no experience out in the water, I assume that you cannot swim yet, you merely just haven’t been taught yet - which is my job.” He looked at Noirepaw with a soft smile, “Does that sound okay to you? A swimming and hunting lesson tomorrow?” The tom-cat hoped that he wasn’t being unreasonable.
That would make her feel special. If the entire Riverclan was proud of her. Yet, she also knew that it was a bit of an exaggeration. She simply brought down a small shrew--while many others brought back large prey or even larger fish from the water! Then again, she was still happy. She wasn't complaining. She quite content. As she sat down, her eyes flitting around, she took a few ganders at her chest fur. All that hunting surely had messed her fur up, but the running? She craved it again. Running had to be everything. It felt like she were flying with the wind dancing through her pelt. She had felt that she had become one with her prey. "Did it feel like that to you?" She asked, eagerly, then suddenly knew that he probably didn't know what she was talking about, so with her tail thumping behind her in an abnormal way, the she cat added, "Your first catch, I mean!" Her voice was laced with excitement yet her expression held a curious gaze.

Then, she twitched her nose. "What was your first catch?" For some odd reason, Noirepaw pictured Sproutwhisker's first catch being a mouse or some small rodent. She imagined that it must had took him days to perfect that cat from formally being a kittypet. To Noirepaw, kittypets lacked natural hunting skills. They didn't need them! They were spoiled rotten, fed little pellet droppings that Noirepaw couldn't even imagine how it would taste. Yet, the she cat had always been an observer, someone who was curious. And, though when first meeting her, she appeared shy, she would soon open up with a lot of questions about the world.

Though at his next words, the she cat's ears twitched. She looked up at him, her ears wide, and her eyes taking on the same action. Did she actually hear him correctly? He wanted to practice water hunting? Noirepaw felt her body began shivering--only slightly, barely noticeable. "Water hunting...?" How was she suppose to respond to this? Noirepaw looked at around at the clearing, hoping to avoid the conversation but she couldn't allow her mentor to think she was being rude by not answering him. After all, Noirepaw was a very polite feline. She knew her manners, and never strayed away from them. Especially when it came to cats of an higher rank. She was very formal then. However, with friends? There was a different side to this sweet black feline. One that was more crude humor and plenty playful.

"Sounds...good." She says, giving him a quick glance before she looked away. He was right about one thing. She didn't know how to swim. In fact, she stayed away from the water as much as possible. It made her uncomfortable for some odd reason. Maybe she feared drowning--yeah, that had to be it. She didn't want to drown, consumed by waves. Though at her mentor words, the she cat gave him a longing look. "The water can be pretty...deep." She twitched her nose, giving off an awkward laugh. It was her way of saying that she hoped he was right. That she would learn how to swim--and, even catch fish for her clan. Land hunting was a lot easier since everything was done in her focus, but water? That was different. It was iffy. And, as of the moment she dreaded for their next lesson. But, she also had a weird faith that she would be alright. It was a complicated feeling to her, and something that she failed to understand.

But, she also had a weird faith that she would be alright. It was a complicated feeling to her, and something that she failed to understand.
Sproutwhisker looked at his apprentice with a softened, gentle smile as she asked him a question regarding his first catch. It didn’t take him long at all to answer this time. “Of course. It felt amazing, Noirepaw.” The male purred, “I finally felt like a real clan cat and not just some weak kittypet.” He remembered the pride and amazement that flowed through him when he had first caught something without anyone aiding him. Noirepaw’s tone was full of excitement and pride, which made him remember his own tone. He remembered how his strict mentor wasn’t too impressed, but she was glad that someone like him could catch something on his own. Unlike Snowheart, Sproutwhisker was proud of Noirepaw and all the good work that she has done today in their lesson. “There is no feeling like catching your first piece of prey all on your own.” The male said to the younger cat, “This moment - it truly makes you feel like you belong here, doesn’t it?” He shook his head, knowing that some of his words were silly and mostly dreamy rambling that nobody really understood because, after all, he was just a kittypet in the end to some.

Her next question, though, stumped him for a moment. It was many moons ago since his first ever hunt and even though he remembered the feeling, it was sometimes difficult to remember certain details. “Hmm..” He hummed to himself, placing a paw gently on his chin, “My first catch..” It took him a moment or two of sorting through his memories, early ones with Riverclan that hadn’t been really thought about lately. Although, it finally came to him. “Ah, now I remember. I believe it was a vole, a plump one that was a good catch indeed, like any other, but it was my first ever food that I had caught and it made me proud - as you are right now.” Sproutwhisker enjoyed answering her questions, it made him feel like his past experiences were important and interesting to hear about. He could tell from the start that this young she-cat was one to ask many questions - curious, but not reckless. Asking questions was good, Ripplewhisker always said, always be curious, but don’t always expect an answer. His wise words always stuck with him until this very day as they always would until the end of his life.

The black-and-white warrior noticed right away her reaction when he mentioned hunting out in the water, her eyes and ears widening, her body barely shivering. You couldn’t notice it unless you paid sole attention to her, which he did and noticed. He then noticed how she seemed to say it over again, like she hadn’t heard it the first time. Sproutwhisker knew, right away, that something was not right. The mentor rested the tip of his tail on Noirepaw’s shoulder, as a sign of comfort from the tom-cat. He remembered back when he was given the idea of swimming and hunting around in water, it was no easy task and being a cat not born with Riverclan traits, it was something that was very challenging for him to learn and somewhat get the hang of.

“Noirepaw..” The young warrior spoke, his tone soft and comforting, “All you have to say is that you’d rather learn something else..” He saw her glance at him and then look away, clearly uncertain of her own words and fearful even, by his observing. He nodded shortly to her next words. “Yes, the water can be quite deep. I know that, but you don’t always have to go out into deep waters in order to hunt.” He attempted to reassure her and the fear that was in her expression and tone. “Let me show you that you can trust me, I can help you, okay?” Sproutwhisker said, “But, if you don’t want to, then we don’t have to - it’s your choice.”

Aspenkit took tentative steps across the sunlit camp, making her way to an open, relatively abandoned area. Aspenkits ears perked when her gaze rested on the camp entrance, it was so inviting- like it was literally beckoning her towards the outside. To counter her wandering thoughts, Aspenkit forcefully looked at her paws. Splashes of white, brown and tan against the green backdrop. She took a deep inhale as she moved her tiny paw across the grass that tickled her pads gently. The grasses and plants were nice here.

Instead of retreating elsewhere, Aspenkit slowly lowered herself into a sitting position, and contently played with the grasses beneath her feet. Already, she felt her ears blocking out the chatter of her Clannates around her, and focusing in on the buzz of the bees, the hum of the birds and the sound of the grass swishing beneath her right paw.

Dark clouds spotted the sky, shielding the bright sun from everyones eyes. “We’ll be expecting some rain soon,” She muttered. Cloudrain was lying on her back beneath a large branch which draped over the she-cat. Her paws were playing with the leaves that dangled from the small branches. The warrior sighed in boredom as she poked, prodded and pulled at the leaves. For once, she had nothing to do. This was extremely strange considering this was Cloudrain. The she-cat always had something to do. She was always cheerful and bubbly, but today she was bored. Boredom had finally found her. She’d tried finding a friend to talk to, but everyone seemed occupied with something else. She’d tried making a new friend, but once again, everyone was occupied.

Letting out another sigh, a longer and sadder one, she rolled onto her side and stared passed the leaves. She watched as paws padded passed her and didn’t bother to stop and say hello. “I’ve had enough!" Cloudrain muttered quietly. With that, she sprung to her paws and emerged from the shade. She was going to find someone and get them to chat with her. She tried standing on her back legs and peered around, looking for someone who wasn’t busy. However, she soon lost her balance and collapsed on the ground with a grunt. Still, she wasn’t ready to give up this quickly. She got back up and continued padding around. Finally, her icy gaze landed on a tom cat who was sitting by himself. Her eyes wide with excitement, she raced over to the tom and skidded to a halt in front of him. “Hi! I’m Cloudrain!” Cloudrain said excitedly, running on the spot as the energy coursed through her. Would he think that she was weird? Surely not? But then again, she had just approached him randomly and hadn’t even bothered asking if he was open for a chat. Either way, she was going to make him talk to her, whether he liked it or not.

Chestnutfall had been somewhat meditating since his return from this morning’s border patrol. Lately he had realized how antisocial he’d become. Was it true? He found it attractive. Once the puff of air that excessed from her abrupt stop had cleared, Chestnutfall let out a friendly nervous laugh. “Well hello there!” She practically painted a smile on his face for him. “In a rush, are we?” He stood feeling the energy and determination running through her and transferring through himself. Now that he could focus, he briefly examined this feline. He was surprised to not recognize her right away, her bright silver coat was rather stunning to be looked over - even with pass-by. “Cloudrain, was it? Pleased to meet you.” He dipped his head in respect to the she-cat. “I’m Chestnutfall.” In regard to her spunkiness he assumed she was just hyped with presentation. He took a seat once more and curled his tail neatly over his paws. “So, are you always this enthusiastic? Must really keep the adrenalin pumpin’.” The warrior chuckled at himself and tilted a head at her with interest. “Maybe I should try that more often?”

The silver tabby took no notice of how close she was to touching noses with the tom. Maybe she was a bit too close for comfort, but she wouldn’t know that unless he pointed it out specifically. She was rather oblivious at times and wasn’t very good at identifying the little details. As she awaited a response from the cat, she continued to jog on the spot while she examined him. She’d seen him once or twice before around camp. She’d seen basically everyone in RiverClan at least once. Although, she hadn’t necessarily spoken to everyone and she was certain that she’d never tried to start a conversation with this tom. Maybe she had considered it before, but hadn’t found the chance to. When it came to socialising with others, Cloudrain was a very busy cat. There were so many cats that she could speak to, yet not enough time. The she-cat loved talking to the point where she’d once dreamt of herself with a few more mouths on her. She could chat a cat’s head off if she really put in the effort.
It was interesting to see how the optimism that Cloudrain held, spread so easily to others. The warrior could see it in the tom that her happiness had started to infect him. "Well actually, yes! You see, I was bored and looking for someone to talk to but everyone was just sooooo busy! So I decided that I couldn’t take it anymore and I decided to go find someone to talk to. I spotted you and I just had to make sure that I got to you before you were too busy to talk!” Cloudrain said cheerfully. The words spilled out of her mouth at a million miles per hour and anyone with bad hearing would struggle to catch a single word she’d just spoken. It was a habit of her’s. She would speak lots of words at a fast speed and no one would be able to hear what she was saying. There were a specific few that could understand her in times like this, and the she-cat found herself liking these cats more than the rest. "Chestnutfall eh? That’s a nice name!” Cloudrain said enthusiastically. She thought everyones name was nice. She wanted to say more but had to stop herself from rambling again. "Oh yes, it keeps me going through the day. I mean, I could probably last through the night as well if I wanted, but someone would make me go to sleep eventually. You should try it too! It really does work well. And, it makes you quite popular amongst others….I think. I mean, I met this ThunderClan cat a short while ago and he didn’t look impressed with me. Actually, he said something about him getting possessive and what not but I wasn’t really listening. There was a pretty butterfly,” Cloudrain said, once again speaking very quickly. "I was rambling wasn’t I? I’m sorry, it’s a habit. Actually, I think I’m doing it again. Oh dear I really need to stop talking. Okay I’m just going to stop now,” She mumbled, looking down at her paws in embarrassment.

The tawny-colored she-cat stretched as she made her way out of the Warrior's Den, her mouth opening widely in a long yawn. She smiled as she glanced back at the Warrior's Den, before turning her bright green, nearly yellow gaze to the Apprentice's Den. Although the change of sleeping arrangements hadn't been major, she couldn't help but feel accomplished. It'd been her first night in the Warrior's Den, after her vigil, and her second day as a warrior. Her gaze scanned around the clearing in search of a certain cat as she made her way to the fresh-kill pile for breakfast. She tore her gaze away from the clearing to study the pile, before picking out a brown scaled fish.
She found a place to sit in the clearing and sunk her teeth into the prey, the flavor flooding her mouth as she smiled slightly. She went back to searching the clearing, wanting to find this certain cat. If she couldn't spot him while she was eating, she wpuld properly search once she was finished with her breakfast. Tawnyflight took yet another bite, settling down a bit more and tucking her paws under her body, continuing her search. She hadn't hung out with her best friend in awhile, and wanted badly to chat with him again.
