The small molly made sure to be as quiet as possible, walking around and smelling the air. She sniffed and smelt..MOUSE! Yes! I can get this one! Lakepaw thought with enthusiasm, finding the little rodent, starting to stalk. She wriggled her rump, before pouncing onto the small creature! She....got it! The little rodent started wriggling and fighting her paws. It tried to nip and claw, making her wince before nipping back sharply, killing it swiftly. Picking it up, she ran back to the tunnels, putting the little mouse in them before continuing to hunt.

Palepaw shrugged.
"I don't have to win. I just want to come back to the tunnels. No one wants to bring me here."
She couldn't imagine why, the tunnels were pretty neat. A little unsafe, maybe, but surely they could fix that eventually, with time and effort, but if Blizzardsky was willing to bring her back regardless of the prey, she didn't mind whatsoever.

Flamedrop smelled the scent and stopped dead. she turned tail and ran away from where the raccoon was. when she had caught her breath, she sniffed the air and followed a scent.

It didn't take long for the young warrior to spot and catch a mouse - having left the water behind him for a brief moment, now carrying both prey. It had been a decently easy catch, to be honest, and slowly the tom was getting a little more used to the narrowness of the tunnels. Perhaps it wasn't... As bad as he had thought before, but that was for him only to know. Although he knew he was still a bit of off where his prey pile was, with a mouse and water vole, he decided to head back there anyway to drop them off. And so he did. It was surprising to see how many mice he seemed to have caught - they were practically... Well, actually, it was all he had caught aside from the water vole. Huh... Strange, but oh well. Gingerfrost left the mouse and singular water vole on his sma pile, and went straight back into the tunnels. All these back and forths were getting tiring.

He was a bit nervous to continue, as his head along with his nose now throbbed. He was beginning to hate joining this stupid competition, but Kestrelwing knew if he backed out now it would only draw unwanted attention. So instead, the tom tried a different route, this time picking up a familiar vole scent. He felt relief wash over him as he spotted another water vole nibbling on dirt down the way of another tunnel. "Gotchaaa," he mewed in a sing-song voice as he pounced, claiming the vole's life. He brought his catch back, feeling better about his turn of luck.[/INDENT][/INDENT]

Petuniapaw continued down her path and saw another mouse! She would stalk it for a bit before jumping for it. However, the small creature scurried and ran off. The apprentice tried to fallow it but got turned around and lost it in the tunnels. That was fine! She was doing good already, just needed to keep trying hard and she'd get there.
