➣ Being so lost in her own confusing and jumbled mind, the small RiverClan apprentice nearly didn’t notice another cat almost bump into her. But movement soon would catch the fluffy molly’s light-blue gaze and she would turn her head. Staring back at her was a kitten, a much younger clanmate who she had never spoken to before. For a second, there was absolute silence, as she wasn’t too good at sudden social interactions, but eventually the apprentice would force a friendly smile to her expression. “Oh, hello there.” Cloudpaw greeted with an awkward wave of her paw, “My name’s Cloudpaw, what’s yours?” It felt terribly awkward leaving her tongue, but the RiverClan she-cat genuinely didn’t know how to start conversations. Usually, others did that for her.

Crowkit

Uhhhhhhhhhh, ok, so she hadn't really expected the other cat to like... talk to her. Talking just wasn't something she did. Not that she couldn't, there was nothing wrong with her mouth or tongue, if she wanted to she could give the longest to speeches, but something about it always seemed to make her uncomfortable. So, no she wasn't going to start talking for this apprentice. Of course, she had nothing against them, in fact, they seemed oddly nice to her for like no reason, but it was the principle as well, the first cat she would talk to wouldn't be a stranger.

Yet the spotted molly seemed to engage with her despite her... in a way aloof nature. Fine, she'd try. Crowkit's yellow gaze followed the paw raised in front of her - a greeting of sorts. Slowly, as if unsure of her own movements, Crowkit raised a paw to mimic the gesture, before lowering her paw again and looking at the apprentice as they spoke again. Cloudpaw. Yellow eyes shifted from looking at the apprentice's face, to quickly glancing over their body. White and fluffy, but splotched with darker markings. Yes, Cloudpaw was a fitting name. But then the apprentice asked a question. It wasn't a yes or no one, so Crowkit couldn't just nod or shake her head. Ok, how should she tell this... She turned, looking up towards the few trees, looking for something. She found a magpie, not a crow like she had half been hoping for.

She looked at the bird intensely for a few moments and turned back to Cloudpaw. It wasn't quite enough to explain her name, so Crowkit straightened up from her somewhat hunched stance, into her full length. She was still a kit and hadn't been in this world for more than twp moons, but she was still among the largest kits in the nursery - colossal, broad-shouldered, and with long dark fur flowing down her body and tail. Maybe that could be enough for the apprentice to connect the puzzle pieces of who she was. Well, it would have been easier if she was a more social cat with a more well-known name, it would have been even easier.

So, all that in an effort to get across was her meaningless name was, to answer the apprentice's polite questions. Crowkit didn't know really anything about conversations, this was pretty close to her first real one that she hadn't planned out in her head beforehand or at least thought about first, and this was really more of a short, polite interaction rather than a full-on conversation. But from all that she knew it was now her turn to either ask something or continue on whatever topic was at hand. But what could see ask about without using words to just... point to something. Maybe she could inquire about the apprentice's training, that was something she had heard the other cats Cloudpaw's age discussing, all the new moves they had learned and places they'd visited, how annoying dawn patrols had.

So, once more she looked around, this time searching for something else than birds. Her gaze rested on the apprentices' den, then moved to a few cars just leaving camp, following them until they disappeared, and then looking at what she could see over the camp wall (that mainly being the top of bushes and trees), before finally moving back to look at Cloudpaw, her eyes clam but with a certain questioning look. It wasn't the perfect way to ask, but whatever the apprentice would interpret her question as, it would continue the interaction if Cloudpaw still wanted to.

[So... I didnt expect to write this much, but Crowkit has too many thoughts and actions to explain, please dont feel pressured to match >﹏< ']

She spied Mudkit in the clearing. She wasn't too close with him, but hey, now was the chance! Maybe he'd want to come looking for pretty rocks with her.

She walked up to him, her tail held straight up. "Hiya Mudkit. Whatcha doing?"

Mudkit looked over to see Bluebellkit. "Hi! Nothing much." He admitted. "How bout you?"

She led him over to the camp entrance. "Sometimes," she said, like she was going to tell Mudkit a big secret, "when the big cats and the apprentices, they shake rocks out of their fur, or the rocks get kicked it. I've found some really pretty ones."

"Wow!" He purred. glancing over, he saw an especially shiny one across from the two. "Look at this!" Mudkit mewed, gaping at it. The rock was super shiny and see through. it was glowing in the sunlight in a very beautiful way.
