Mottlekit chomped into the moss-ball, his slobber getting all over the ball. Glancing over his shoulder as he glared at the queen. She just won't stop bothering him would she? He snarled quietly, ignoring her deeds. He'd rather hang out with Vixenkit out of all cats, she was better, and she was much much smarter too! Being his subordinate and all of course she would be the best cat to choose out of all his clanmates. Stifling a yawn through his throat, he flicked his small pointy bee-like arch of a tail. He looked over at the queen, his mind whirled with thoughts and calculations. What if.. I made her one of my henchman? His slobber started to round the moss-ball like sticky caramel on a candy apple.

He let go off the moss-ball, his mouth retracting with a little pop! sound. He hesitated as he clawed into the moss-ball. A small grin appearing on his face, he used his looks to lure in the queen. Queens are always about kits, kits, kits. They wouldn't abandon one would they? Mottlekit knew tactics and tricks to lure in certain kits to their demise. That was his biggest plan to becoming the future of his clan. His ambition was dangerously through the roof. He stood from his position into a crouched sit. Beady eyes swelled up, he looked like he was about to cry. "I'm sorry.. it's just that.. my mother abandoned me.. cough adopted mother cough cough. And I-I just don't feel so good anymore. I miss her, I really do." His eyes slanted sorrowfully. But under all that pretty kitty behavior, a small devious grin was building up a plan.

Did he truly miss his adoptive mother Mousepool? Ye-No! Of course not! Why would he ever miss her? She's gone now and has left her clan for good. When he used the excuse with Sparrowstar for sneaking out and abandoning his kit with his sob story, trying to find a kit who had also snuck it. It was because of his mother, the only last thing he heard from her was a yawn. He didn't know his true origins, but he would never believe any other cat besides Mousepool. He blinked, using his cuteness to finally overthrow this queen. She was going to become a warrior soon right? Then having henchman like this would boost his status to the max! He could let out a loud cackle by now. The smartest kit mind like this was going to overthrow the world for sure!

Quailfur gave a small etch with her muzzle, this kit truly has no manners! Biting down on a moss-ball like that, with all that slobber as well. She blinked, seeing a conspicuous smile from the kit. Her heart fluttered with softness seeing the kit give her a gleeful smile. Alarms ringed in her head that this kit here was trying to do something sly. But she just couldn't put her paw on it, letting the kit draw her in with his milky sweet aura.

She purred giving a sharp-cornered smile, with Mottlekit grieving for his adopted mother who has went missing from the clan. She tried to recall the queens name, but it seemed to be so long ago that even her brain started to feel fuzzy. She mrrwed through a shaking pelt. Curling her tail around the kits body, feeling the warmth emerge from his pelt. "Well then, to keep your mind in a happy mood. Why don't we play a small fetch of moss-ball for the time being? I'm sure that would help you for the better Mottlekit?" She grinned, grabbing the salivated ball from his white paws.

She bit her bottom lip, attempting to wipe off the saliva from the ball. Moss naturally sucks up things like honey and water. And that was exactly what has happened to this ball. Her whiskers quivered as she forced herself to play with him in order to gain his approval of her. "Well then. Let's start this game shall we?" She was ready to toss the ball in her maw, curving her tail to let Mottlekit know to back away a few paw-steps.

She listened to Sparrowstar intently and was surprised she wasn't the only one to be moving into the nursery. Rainflower and her would be moving in together. Thunderbblaze seemed to have not taken much notice of her moving into the nursery, so she might have to whisper it to him, but she'd wait a bit for the news to register for him.

Rainpaw was glad to have someone to talk to besides his family. His adopted uncle Specklepaw was nowhere to be seen yet, and neither were his parents or Lavenderpaw. Or... Fallowkit. Fallowkit was missing. Panic began to come to the young tom. Had he gotten to the hole in the nursery a lot sooner than he had, Fallowkit would probably still be in the camp, where she was safe and sound.

"H-have... have you seen F-fallowkit? She's supposed to become an apprentice during this meeting. S-she's my littermate."

Oh StarClan let this not be true! Let her be in the nursery sleeping the day away! The tom surveyed the crowd, hoping to find his family among the Clan. But none of them were around. He was at yet another meeting without his family to be around. Uncle Specklepaw? Fallowkit? Lavenderpaw? Momma Quailfur? Thrushdad? He wanted to wail for his family but knew it would be inappropriate during a Clan meeting, so he decided to keep his mouth shut. They were late to the last meeting... they might be late to this meeting!

Flamepaw was surprised to hear that her former temporary mentor was going to be a queen, but she supposed that it would've happened anyway considering she was getting more plump by the day even before Flamepaw finished her training with her. And an elder ceremony was happening. Well, that was a shock. She couldn't remember the last time an elder ceremony happened in ThunderClan. Two more queens and an elder would be difficult for the Clan to take care of, especially this coming leaf-bare. StarClan help us to not starve...

He saw the queens paws slowly but surely take his puny moss-ball away. His paw was too slow as he tried to swat the queens paw away. He completely forgot that he was trying to make her his henchman! If his plan were to fail now what would he do.. He sneakily peeked at the clan to see if she noticed his sudden aggression. He let out a sigh of relief, spluttering into a puddle. He raised himself from his place to hear that they were going to play a game of catching moss-ball? He clicked his tongue. He felt a bit annoyed, If I have to do this in order to gain her place by my side.. then so be it! Honestly for him, a game of moss-ball was one of the worst games he's ever ever!!! played. He hated how much they had to run around in order to get the ball in their grasp. And all that tumbling with dirty pelts! urgghh!! His brow twitched with irritation just at the thought of that.

He would rather play by himself in his own little bubble without anyone bothering his little escape space. He glanced towards Quailfur, silently begging in his mind to make sure she read his mind right. If she could read minds. He puckered his lips, pouting softly. If this is what I have to do.. He sighed. He raised his shoulders to look more confident, his tail slapping his sides like a heaving slobbery excited dog. "Let's play! I'm ready to rumble." He stood from his place, following Quailfurs specific instructions. Backing away, eyeing the moss-ball like a true wild cat.

Was he going to fail? Of course not. This would be the grandest, most awesomest, he's the awesome one here. Just look at all these cats watching me to the big finale! His eyes sparkled with just the thought of jumping, catching the ball in one leap, and doing a big spin in the air, landing on his paws!! Touch-downnn!!! His paws were shaking, as if he were rumbling the ground with super ultra drill paws that dig into cement.

[ would it be okay if mottlekit saw quailfur as a mother? he gets attached easily. ]

Bumbleflight walked into the nursery, a plump pigeon in his jaws. He had gone on one of his walks and, while out, he'd found and subsequently caught said pigeon in his jaws and, now, returning to camp, the dark brown tabby figured it would be a good idea to bring it to the queens and their kits. It was the least he could do, after all, for their hard work with the kits and raising them, and to replenish the seemingly endless energy said kits seemed to have.

Careful not too wake any sleeping queens or kits up, the young warrior maneuvered his way through the nursery, tattered ear swiveling to listen despite said ear being partially deaf. In as quiet voice as he could muster, Bumbleflight spoke.

"Um... Hey, I brought a pigeon from my walk today, and figured you lit might enjoy it. Er, if not, that's fine, I can bring it to the elders' den..." his voice trailed off into a sort of whisper as he continued, awkwardly shuffling his paws underneath him. Wow, great job.

"Oh! Good Morning Bumbbleflight! how's it going today?" purred an overly happy Rainflower, she was over the moon at her new rank, and soon to be parent hood "it's perfect Weather out today isn't it? the sun is shining and weather's just the best!"

Quailfur raised a brow, Mottlekit was doing the most for this small game. She huffed as she slid her paw. Like an epic action cinema battle scene was about to play and cause the whole audition to scream at the top of their lungs. Well - not that it really matters in a world of cats. She lunged the moss-ball into the air, seeing it fly into the air in a huge radius. She waited to see it land in the kit jaws. Surely it would?

The sudden adrenaline of it going over Mottlekits head hit her in a matter of seconds. She sent the ball too far! She panicked as she looked towards Mottlekit. Would the tom catch the ball in time? She gulped. The ball seemed to be going in slow-motion as the audience were waiting with their hearts beating out of their chest. When she realized it was actually just right on top of Mottlekits head ready to dive down. She yelped looking towards Mottlekit with widened eyes. "Mottlekit watch out! Oh Starclan-" A small gasp escaped her.

Bumbleflight jumped in surprise. Having attempted to keep quiet to not wake up any sleeping kits or queens, or annoy any of them, it came to him as more than a little shock to hear someone greet him so enthusiastically. Looking up, the dark brown tabby tom's amber eyes scanned the nursery and landed on Rainflower. Ah, she was a new queen, wasn't she? Seemed rather enthusiastic about it as well, and asking him how his day was.

Grabbing the pigeon in his jaws, Bumbleflight brought the prey to the queen, coming to sit in front of her. "It's been going well. The weather is great, yes. There's even a slight breeze off at Giant's Rest, so that makes it even better. And how about you, Rainflower? Settling into life as a queen just fine?"
