The massive grey tabby emerged from the warrior's den, mouth parting in a gaping yawn. He padded heavily a little ways away and further into the clearing before taking a seat and setting to work briskly lapping at his thick coat of fur. He wasn't one to care about looking pretty all that much, but he did prefer to appear somewhat presentable. Unfortunately his fur, especially long in the colder moons, did not seem to agree.
The warrior gave up after a few moments and stretched instead, taking the time to examine his surroundings. Other cats were getting up as well, meandering around the clearing, gathering near the prey pile, or leaving for patrols. His amber eyes caught on a she-cat a little ways away, sticking her tongue out at the sky. He followed her gaze to the clouds, noting their ominous nature. He rather liked them, but it seemed she was not of the same opinion.
Beastflame flicked his feathery tail thoughtfully. He was in a good mood today (which wasn't saying much, all things considered) and could do with some company. Before he knew it, he'd pulled himself to his feet and was approaching the molly. He didn't sit, not wanting assume she preferred his presence, but instead paused a tail length away, nodding up at the sky. "What did the clouds ever do to you?" he asked dryly.
@Non-binary_Disaster
Whisperwave was sitting down by a small puddle of water, the small trickle of the puddle as more raindrops fell, calmed the tom. Whisperwave suddenly shook out his pelt, his hairs sticking up at the sudden rush of adrenaline. "Ooh!" he mrrowed. Whisperwave flicked his ears at his sudden energy. The quiet tom wanted a challenge! And right there was his next victim of defeat! Whisperwave's sharp amber eyes landed on Rainglow, now all he would have to do....is wait 10 thousand moons because he was to shy to approach Rainglow and Rainglow probably wouldn't approach him....darn it. Whisperwave thought with an irritated flick of his tail. Whisperwaves angry tail splashed cold, muddy water onto his pelt. Whisperwave leapt a tail length into the air and hissed. "Darn it!" looking up and around he noticed there was some staring cats. Whisperwave put his ears down and started to groom himself. Sitting in the sun to dry his dirty pelt.

Rainglow sat in the clearing, eyes on a few pebbles that were at his paws. These pebbles he'd come to know quite well- every pattern, color, nook, and cranny, he knew like the back of his paw. But that wasn't much to brag about, because the back of all of his paws were solid grey. The fluffy tom purred, laying himself down beside the small stones. Ah, the news of his brother becoming a father had lightened Rainglow's mood very much. He widened his jaws, letting out a long yawn. They closed with a quiet shmap, and he decided to look up from the pebbles and watch the other warriors. Was he imagining it, or was one tom looking at him? Whisperwave, he believed his name to be. The grey tom jumped a little when Whisperwave leaped into the air. Rainglow flicked his tail uncomfortably, watching the other tom carefully, ready to look away as soon as Whisperwave gazed in his direction.

Whisperwave glanced around the clearing as he ears stayed down. He let out a little whimper of embarrassment and shame. He had done this to himself and was still looking for excuses! Ugh, life was a mess. Whimperwave continued a little whimper as he checked his pelt for and scratch and dirty marks.
he shook out his fluffy pelt, his tail between his legs in fear of others staring. When he was in camp he hated it, out of camp he was still quiet but he was attentive and confident. Hunting and fighting just made him feel better. His ears fell down again as his mother, Vinetail scolded him harshly before padding back to the nursery. Vinetail had padded past Rainglow muttering about how Whisperwave was "Never going to make it in his first battle"

Rainglow flicked his ears backward at the she-cat's words. From just the little snippet, he could tell Whisperwave was probably a lot like himself. The grey tom shuffled a little closer to the other warrior, eyes cast in the opposite direction. "U-uh, h-hi..." He mumbled, tail flicking.
(sorry for the short post! i gtg do something with my mom!)

No problem! Take your time! <3
Whisperwave held his ears down as he looked at Rainglow. His eyes resting on the other toms eyes he slowly let his ears rise back up , and his tail out from underneath his legs. "H-h-hi" he mewed shyly. Trying to not look away and seem rude but he couldn't help but stare at the ground.

Rainglow looked to the sky. StarClan help me... He turned his icy blue eyes to Whisperwave, paws shuffling nervously. "U-uh, I'm R-Rainglow...!" He mewed quietly, attempting (and failing) a smile.

Gingerpaw sat with her paws curled under her body, trying to ignore the bitter cold, which her fur offered little protection from. Her tail was wrapped around her in a protective manner, and she sat with her eyes almost closed, looking as though she was only seconds away from sleep. In truth, she was very alert, and ready for anything.
BLUEBELLPAW
She had been watching the other apprentice for a little bit, wondering if she should intervene. The cold snow really couldn’t be comfortable. Bluebellpaw frowned. Maybe she should help. Yes yes, that would be the right think to do. Or at least ask why she was doing it.
She walked away, wadding through the icy water. "Hey." She sidled up to the other apprentice. "Why're you in the snow? Its cold."
