As her name was called, she gave a wide-eyed glance to Sparrowstar, then to Emberpaw, then back to Sparrowstar, she walked slowly to keep herself from running, but just from her face you could tell she felt a sense of excitment. Softpaw knew now that yes, this was the meeting where she'd become a warrior, something she had dreamed of since she was a kit, and. . .it was relieving, exciting, and horrifying, but overall it just gave her the most positive vibes imaginable.

Stepping forth into the nursery, the familiar milky scent of childhood hit Cinderpaw all at once. A smile bloomed on her maw as she placed the nest down on the ground. "H-hey, kids!" She croaked, trying to get the attention of any of the nursery denizens. She remembered when she was this small, and now she hardly fit in the nursery... jeez.

"F-f-frogpaw made this real nice warm nest for all of y-you to share~!" She shouted, attempting to do a sing-songy voice... though it soon fizzled into a rasp. It was the thought that counted. "Come'n g-get it!"

Turning to Frogpaw, she was surprised by the sight of a little kit already latched onto her back. Cinderpaw let out a strained laugh. "She likes you, eh?"

FrogPaw began to do that laughing crying thing again, and seeing what her face looked like while doing it was pretty funny. “Blue-kit-you-aren’t- as-light-as-you-used-to-be-“ she wheezed.

BlueKit bounced up and down on FrogPaw to the point that the apprentice fell over, “FROGPAW SAID IM FAAAAT!” She announced.

Duckfluff sighed and shook his head. Bluekit sure was something. As much as she made him laugh, he knew he’d have to clean her mess up later. How does her father handle it? His mind wander momentarily to Foxwillow and her fast arriving litter. He supposed he would find out soon enough. The thought made himself smile in spite of the situation. “Let’s go little warriors!” He meowed, scooping up Bluekit in his jaws and ushering Lotuskit out.

[I’d be more than happy to post a starter in the clearing, but if you two want to end it here that’s alright too! ]

Well it had taken bribery and manpower but he had finally managed to get these kits out of the apprentice’s den. A feat not one to sneeze at. He tried not to think about the amount of clean up that would fall on his shoulders as a result of this. And now he would have to entertain them so they didn’t get into even more trouble. He would hate to see them held back Oh Starclan help me! He couldn’t help but look around for one of their parents’ as back up. He couldn’t spot them. He set Bluekit down, warily watching her next move. He had a feeling that if he took his eyes off her for a second she’d be right on top of something again. He couldn’t imagine where her ideas had even come from. ”Lotuskit are you ready for your badger ride!” He meowed with a purr. He got down so Lotuskit could climb on. He really did like giving kits badger rides, even if the kits were professional trouble makers.

Blue kit sat peacefully, waiting for eyes to be off of her for a second. Once eyes were off of her, she’d do something so distracting that lotuskit would be able to pad off to do something crazy. Let’s hope LotusKit saw the opportunity.

"Vixenpaw, Woodpaw!" Hazelpaw cheered as the new apprentices were named. Her ears perked as two apprentices were also called, presumably to become warriors. That was going to be her soon, even though she was only nine moons.

Moonkit walked over from the nursery entrance. "Just 'cause you grown doesn't mean you're fat," she told Bluekit. "At least you get to be a 'prentice soon. I still got a whole lot longer to go. First you wreck the 'prentice den, now you wreck somebody who lives there, a lot of people are probly glad you'll be mentored off soon." Then she slowly went to the edge of the nursery and just waited there.
