Tulipkit laid in the Kit Burrow, batting around a mossball. Normally she’d go outside and enjoy the busy Clearing, but it was too cold for that today, she’d much rather stay warmer within the walls of the burrow, although it meant sacrificing all possible sources of entertainment. So instead she batted a mossball around, wanting to play, but also wanting to keep warm.
She got more invested in her little game with herself, accidentally batted the ball across the Burrow.

``i'm sorry about him,`` laburnumkit managed to utter through her teeth, watching as he walked away from them, tail tucked and ears pinned backward. tucking her head down, she groomed her poofy chest, eyes thoughtfully staring at the ground beneath.

As Adderkit padded away Tulipkit silently thanked StarClan that she wouldn’t have to deal with the crying frogbrain, and instead trotted over to Laburnumkit, her mood doing a 180 as she smiles warmly.
“You’re Lauburnumkit, right? Sorry I ignored you earlier. Your brother is very irritating.”
in the midst of him walking away from tulipkit and laburnumkit, he accidentally bumped into marigoldkit. with a few sniffles, he helped her stand back onto her paws, sitting next to her, posture slouched and eyes wet with tears threatening to fall. ``s-sorry i bumped into you,`` he muttered, raising an aching paw to wipe some of said tears.
Marigoldkit let out a yelp of surprise, not expecting to suddenly be washed in a bloodbath of sympathy for the poor kit. "No no! You're fine, you did nothing wrong!" She offered a smile.
What she didn't know though, was that he had been screeching at another kit a few moments before. But she hadn't seen that, so she hadn't been able to hold her unguilty judgement or her words of comfort.
Marigoldkit nudged Adderkit with her shoulder, trying to get her sympathy across.

she nodded. `` he tends to be that way sometimes. he has a strong temper but a very weak toleration to people who have valid comebacks.`` she said wisely. laburnumkit seemed more collected and calm, rather than the bursting-with-emotion adderkit. she was well-kept and her fur was well-groomed.
``he lacks patience.`` she muttered, still staring at the ground. she seemed here; but also not..

Tulipkit laughs at that, flicking her tail in agreement. “Agreed! He knows that calling someone stupid isn’t a a good argument, right?” She says, although it’s somewhat hypocritical, as she hurled insults at him too.
“So Laburnumkit, what do you like to do? Wanna be friends?”
Ripplepelt let out a little prrp! of agreement as Swanbreeze stretched, shaking out her own back legs.
"I'd like that," she mewed, heading towards to entrance of camp. "How about we head to Haven Springs? The cold leaves me pretty achey, but the hot water can help to ease it a little. We can get to know each other on our way there."

adderkit sniffled pathetically, tail curled tightly around his front paws. he slightly giggled when she nudged him; it made him feel less sad. ``so,`` he said, wiping away past tears. `` what's your name, m'lady? my name is adderkit, but you can call me yours.~`` he flirted, chuckling to himself.

She might be the senior of most (if not all) of RiverClan's warriors, but she still had life in her yet, even if her joints felt the cold a little more that they used to.

nodding, swanbreeze walked out of the riverclan camp, officially into riverclan territory. her body (for what she felt in a millennia) felt.. content. safe, even. why had she felt so content around a cat she was just starting to get to know? she wasn't sure.
``nowadays, aches just come from kits. if i worry too much then my joints go bad,`` she chuckled. ``kits are precious to me.`` she thought about her past litter, once again, quickly shaking it off. she didn't want a new friend to see her grieve over something that happened so long ago.
sighing softly, she let her body relax, walking alongside rippepelt with a steady pace. pelt subtly brushing against hers, she listened to ripplepelt's walking with interest.
