Moonmeadow trotted into camp happily with Brownpaw and BubbleBunny behind her. It was pretty routine for the shadowy enforcer at this point, herb patrols being the patrols they were assigned to the most lately, not that she minded just an observation. Well anyways, point was, it was routine to pad over to the medicine den and set down the herbs that were collected at her paws in front of Mossfreckle. She gave the medicine cat a grin, “A brilliant patrol if I do say do myself! Hope this is enough to last awhile, if not don’t mind heading out again.” The enforcer offered as she waited for the warrior and apprentice accompanying them to drop off their herbs as well.

Midnightpaw toddled over after Petalrot and Grousepaw, placing her mushrooms at her paws for Mossfreckel to see. “Here, found a few mushrooms.. Not a lot, but some!”

Brownpaw followed closely after Moonmeadow, carefully setting down her daises for the medicine cat. The smell of them was quite nice... Brownpaw missed it already, though maybe she could find some more to sniff another time.

"Here you go, Mossfreckle!", she chirped. Her patrol had done a good job, they got all the herbs Mossfreckle asked for! Brownpaw would've brought even more, but she could only carry so much... maybe she'd get better at fitting herbs in her mouth, the more patrols she went on.

Redrobin bounded into the camp, glancing over her shoulder to make sure that Tuftedtusk and Mirepaw were on her heels. She headed straight towards Lynxshade.

"Everything went okay, but we did run into a RiverClan patrol," She explained. "No fights, though."

After returning from their patrol and dropping off the bramble twig into the herb storage, Lostspark padded back into the clearing, in clear view of Lynxshade, her face actually turned towards the Enforcer. She was just here to make sure Mistlewhisker turned in their patrol report, and only once the one-eyed feline had done so would Lostspark leave. Otherwise she'd report the patrol herself, if Lynxshade did not receive a report.

Briarsplash came bounding in, carrying four pieces of prey. The warrior glanced behind her, making sure Wolfhowl was following. Carefully setting the prey into the fresh-kill pile, Briarsplash then padded over to Lynxshade to give the report.

"Good haul... woulda gotten more had Lionpaw showed up, though," she huffed. "The 'paw never showed their face!"

With that, she dipped her head to the Enforcer and waited to make sure Wolfhowl came in.

Lynxshade welcomed Briarsplash and Wolfhowl with a nod, giving a pleased look at the pile of prey they had collected together. "Good work. Now you can go and have some rest. And don't worry, I'll deal with Lionpaw myself." She confirmed with a frown, then dismissed them with a flick of her tail.

"Batpaw." She called the apprentice, nodding toward the freshkill pile to nudge him toward it instead of waiting for his catch to fly magically to its place. "This is unbelievable. Badgerstripe will have something to hear, but Honeyspot will be punished twice as hard for having let an apprentice wander alone in the territory." Her fur bristled in rage, but she remembered to lash her tail to dismiss the apprentice.

"This is good, you all made an excellent work. Go have some rest and eat something." She nodded to the group, finally able to relax a bit. This was the first successful patrol. Was it a good sign? She hoped so.

"Lostspark, why do you hesitate?" She raised her voice to reach the medicine cat, calling her closer with her paw. "Did everything go okay? Where's the rest of your patrol?" She looked around, waiting to see if Mistlewhisker showed up. Surely, they had caught prey and would show up soon, right?

Mistlewhisker padded into camp alongside Lostspark, Magpiepaw and Birdpaw. What should have been a quiet border patrol had ended up being rather strange for a reason one might not expect. The Enforcer could see Lynxshade scanning the entrance as if waiting for her patrol, and the black feline sighed quietly before heading over to report. Lostspark had gone ahead, while Mistlewhisker had paused for a moment to ensure a scent marker hadn’t been missed. She didn’t want any ThunderClan rats to get the wrong idea. “All is quiet on the ThunderClan border. There was very faint scent of injured outsiders, but stale enough to not be a concern. The reason we are late…” Mistlewhisker cast her one-eyes gaze to Birdpaw, who was still yawning slightly as she followed her mother. “Birdpaw ate something that made her very tired. We had to ensure she expelled what she ate before continuing.” Leave it to the Weird Kid to be, well, weird.

"Basilwisp was slow to show, so I took the apprentices hunting instead. While we were there, Basilwisp finally showed up before both he and Finchpaw seemed to disappear."

(I understand that technically there's more I should do since I took over patrol leader, but I'm trying to wrap this up, I'm going on an emergency hiatus for my mental health) @Wingnettle
