November Gathering

This Plumpaw had ruffled his feathers, so to speak. Dimtail glared at her as she claimed he was trash talking his clanmates to make himself look better. "No, I'm trash talking them because they're mousebrains who think anyone who isn't pure blood Windclan is worse than crow food,"
Was he name calling because he wanted to make himself look better? Was that what he was deep down thinking? Dimtail didn't think so. So no. It wasn't his fault they were his family. Hopefully little Deadpaw wouldn't turn out like her mother and older siblings.
Dimtail winced and pulled back his ears as Lionstar-storm yelled at the leaders the same time Plumpaw did. Dang, did the guy HAVE to yell? He was drawing unwanted attention to the threesome.
So. All the clans were doing at least semi ok. They would only say there was a big uh oh if the big uh oh might impact the other clans. Otherwise, it would just be showing unwanted weakness. Although Shadowclan might not share a big uh oh, even IF it might impact the other clans. They were jerks that way.
Dimtail couldn't resist smirking at her little word mess up. It wasn't too big of a mess up, but it still gave Dimtail a bit of satisfaction. He couldn't help agreeing with her though. "Yeah, the word 'gathering' indicates a bunch of cats in one area." He gestured to the Seastones surrounded by masses of cats, "Well, here's your gathering!" Dimtail could see where Lionsta-orm was coming from though.
He looked up as the new Riverclan leader, Sootstar was it? Had a brief word with the Shadowclan leader, and then left her standing there. Dimtail gave a hardly surpressed grin seeing someone just up and leave the shadowclan leader. He couldn't hear what was being said, but he could tell they had a brief word. Shadowclan could do with a few notches down on the ego level.
Riverclan was leaving now. Windclan was sure to follow soon. Dimtail looked back at Lionstorm, dipping his head in farewell. "Bye, see you round." he said to the former leader. He looked at the apprentice, "You'll leave soon too, I wager," he said briefly, "So long." Dimtail hadn't taken the time to actually think through the scents covering her body. So he didn't know her clan at the moment. Perhaps Riverclan?

Meadowvalley heard Sootstar, the RiverClan leader, call to her Clan that it was time to go. That meant she had to say bye to Lionstorm. Her ears went down a bit from hearing the news but went straight up when she looked at Lionstorm. "I guess this is farewell till next gathering," she meowed. She stood up. "Cya, Lionstorm." Then she dipped her head to him before padding away to Blueface. Meadowvalley glanced at Lionstorm before returning her green eyes to look at Blueface.

Blueface looked at Meadowvalley.
"so, how did your talk with Lionst-orm go?" he asked. he almost had called him Lionstar. it was strange not seeing Lionstorm leading riverclan, but, oh well. Blueface let his blue eyes stare into Meadowvalley's green eyes, but only for a second. he quickly looked back up to see riverclan leaving the clearing.
wow, I don't pay attention much in gatherings do I?he thought sheepishly to himself. he promised himself he would do better next time and looked back at meadowvalley.

"Thank you." The she-cat replied to Buckstar. Twilightstar wasn't overly certain on where WindClan now stood with RiverClan, she was going to assume they were neutral until proven otherwise, but she felt that she could build a decent relationship with ThunderClan, something WindClan might need in the coming future.
She listened politely to the rest of Buckstar's announcement, nodding her head as he thanked her again for Coldamber's assistance. She didn't really do much, it was Coldamber who deserved all the praise and more if dealing with Frostbreeze was as difficult as the medicine cat made it seem. She'd admit that she didn't think Buckstar had the greatest judgment when it came to picking his high ranks, but she wouldn't fault him on that.
"Sure," One ear fell back slightly, trying to figure out what it was Buckstar wanted. She hoped it didn't have anything to do with raids, the last one hadn't gone all that great. Dawnstar didn't have much to say, it was intriguing that she hadn't said anything about that apprentice. Sootstar didn't have much to say on why Lionstorm stepped down but it wasn't really hers or anyone's business so she could respect that. As soon as Sootstar finished, Twilightstar turned her attention to her deputy.
"Breezefeather, gather the clan and lead them home. I'll catch up as soon as I finish talking with Buckstar." She ordered, glancing at the older tom before turning her attention to Buckstar.
"What do you need?"

Palepaw gave him a big grin. At least there would be someone familiar at the Gathering she could talk to. She wanted to know more about Sparrowpaw, he'd been nice to her at the border.
"I've been good!! I haven't gotten lost again, so I think my navigation it getting better. And I have a new mentor. I don't think you knew my first one, but I thought I'd let you know."

He wanted to know about her new mentor. He wanted to get to know her.

"It was fine," Meadowvalley meowed. She thought she saw a sparkle in his eyes once their eyes stared into each others. She watched as Blueface looked away from her but she didn't take her eyes off of him. Meadowvalley glanced at the RiverClan cats leaving and saw Lionstorm getting up, but she took her green eyes off of him then looked back at Blueface, right before he looked at her, ears twitching slightly.

Okay, home it was. Nothing interesting had really happened during the gathering, except for this that were happening now, these two talks between two of the leaders from each clan. Breezefeather would've wanted to stay and figure out what it was that the Thunderclan leader wanted to discuss with Twilightstar but just flickered his ears in acknowledgement of her command, but moving over and requesting quietly, "I do hope you'll inform me of whatever is going to go down when we get back to the clan. I hope to be kept in the loop, on our standing with the other clans."With that he left his spot at the bottom of the rocks and started to gesture to the rest of WindClan. "WINDCLAN! We're leaving! Let's go home!" Hopefully the clan would be smart enough to start rounding up their talks with the other clans and follow him back.

"okay, cool," blueface mewed awkwardly. "so, um, when are we going back to thunderclan?"
he looked around,tying to find buckstar, then sighed and returned his gaze to Meadowvalley.

"I'm not really sure," Meadowvalley meowed warmly. "Buckstar should announce when were leaving, probably soon." She looked where the leaders were and saw Buckstar talking to the leaders, listening to them, or both. She couldn't tell. Meadowvalley looked back at Blueface unsure of what else to say, but she felt she had to start another conversation before it got too awkward and quiet. "So...what were you doing when I padded away to talk to Duskfern and Lionstorm?" She mewed, her green eyes looking at him. Since ThunderClan hadn't have to leave yet she had more time to talk to Blueface. Even though both of them were in the same Clan, she liked talking, hunting, and patrolling with him.
