"Ooh! Ooh!" Roseheart yelled as she waved her front paw in the air. "I wanna join! I wanna join!"

Palepaw squealed with delight and ran toward.
"I want to join!"
She'd been wanting to explore the tunnels for FOREVER, but no one ever wanted to take her there. She decided she didn't care about winning. It wasn't that great a prize in her eyes anyway. She did, however, want to come back to the tunnels in the future.
Maybe she could bribe a warrior into bringing her back.
She scanned the crowd and saw Blizzardsky and trotted over to him.
"I personally don't care about winning, but if you'd like, I can add my prey to yours to give you a better winning chance!! In exchange you have to bring me back to the tunnels in the future. You good with that?"

A hunting competition in the tunnels? That sounded like it'd be fun. "I'm in," Brighttalon mewed. He probably wouldn't win, and might enjoy it. But he was gonna do it, no matter what. It'd be a good chance for him to hone in on his hunting skills.

Heronflight was all ready to go down into the tunnels. She padded over to everyone. Of course she would join. She wanted to be part of everything her clan did. That was the whole part of being loyal to her clan first rather than herself. Her good eye focused on the leader.

Larkstripe tilted his head in interest. A tunnel hunting competition? While the ginger warrior preferred to fish himself, he knew the apprentices would be head over heels at this prospect. Larkstripe's ears perked as Ripplepaw bounded over with his excited proposition.
"Hmm...this should be an interesting first hunting lesson...if you're going to sneak up on your pray in an echoing cavern, you'll have to be a bit quieter than that, friend." he teased lightly, with a playful smirk. Larkstripe lowered his voice, and lifted a paw, "Center pad first, then toes--" he placed it down, pad, then toes, in a virtually silent step, "And keep your center of gravity low--" he crouched, and winked, "Don't worry, I'll help you. I would like to join--Come on!" He declared, turning and bounding out of camp.

Fighting was fun, but hunting was just as good.
