He glanced at-- who was this? Uhh, Prefix? No- he just said it! Felix! Right. "It's okay, Belix! Whoops. "Felix! I don't think she'd hurt me! We just met and it was juts a misund- misunderstan..ding. Misunderstanding! That." He smiled at the tom then at Ocean.

Turning to Gill - Gull! - he nodded, not wanting to mention he still didn't know what an owner was. "Yep! Not all of us do, and nice to meet you, Gull!!" This was a lot of cats to remember!

Felix gave a small smile, sitting down slowly. "You seemed pretty agitated, but- I guess if you say it's fine...!" he began to lick his ruffled chest fur, watching Pumpkin expectantly.

Pumpkin felt warmth fill his heart as the tom settled. He was glad everyone was getting calm now! He remembered Ocean asking him something about.. fun? Oh yeah! "Well, I have never had this many cats around my patch so I don't know what to do to cure the boredom you have, but I play this game with myself; I go to sleep and if I wake up and it's daytime I win! So, like, since it's not day right now if I went to sleep and it was still dark I'd lose, but if the sun was out when I wake up I win! It's fun and I get to sleep a lot!"

Felix glanced down, trying to ignore the warm, fuzzy feeling filling up inside him. Pumpkin was... how could he describe it? Interesting, for sure, but something more. Something Felix wasn't ready to explore, not yet.

"Sounds like a great game." he muttered, trying to push his complicated feelings to the side. "Sleeping is fun."

Pumpkin's eyes gleamed at the other tom and nodded quickly. "It is fun! And it helps me not be tired all the time so it's great!" He raised his tail. He was happy someone expressed the same love for sleeping like he did! "Oh! Also, you didn't tell me what an owner was? I think you started saying something but then stopped."

Felix looked away. “It’s getting late. Maybe another time?” He got to his paws once more, looking Pumpkin over warmly. “Have a nice night.”

Pumpkin heard Felix say his farewell and nodded slowly, yet he couldn't hide the sudden disappointment in his eyes. He'd miss his new friend, and maybe the others were getting ready to leave, too! But this was something he'd have to come to realize, wouldn't it? Cats being curious about him and his patch then leaving, but he'd noticed the warmth in the tom's gaze and didn't feel as sad anymore. "Alright, have a good night-- I mean, you have a good night, too, since you told me to have a good night-- no, nice night! You said nice night.. uhh, have a nice night to you, too!" He felt dizzy trying to remember what the tom said along with remember what he'd say back.
Remembering was always so hard for him! He sighed.

Felix laughed softly, not intending to sound mean as he touched noses with Pumpkin. “It’s alright, don’t worry. I’ll see you later?”

He smiled hopefully, glancing back at Pumpkin as he turned toward the forest, holding back the barrage of questions he desperately wanted to ask, most of all, what made Pumpkin so... Pumpkin-y? Not in appearance alone, but- he was just so interesting, and weird. Like a treat hidden in the couch cushions...

Gull hesitated for a moment. He had been trying to find a nice place to settle for a while, and this place seemed peaceful. Pumpkin was a little weird, but he liked the tom. Do you think I...uh...could spend the night here? he asked.

Pumpkin smiled back, a bit shocked at Felix touching his nose, but warmed by the kind gesture. "Yep! See ya later, Felix!" He waved his tail in farewell before turning to Gull.

"Sure! You can stay for as long as you'd like! I don't mind at all!" Pumpkin purred, happy someone wanted to stay with him.
